Been wanting to post this for days but login went down, games still being worked on (little by little) but I've decided to release a re-write (not really anything changed that much but I needed to retype up the outline anyway after I lost the disk which it was saved on...)
So yeah below is the outline, There are 4 Parts to the story, currently it has all of part 1 (shortest part) and about... a half or maybe a third of part 2 (depends how far I bring out this new arc I'm adding in, which will take place in the next batch of scenes I release) anyway remember THIS IS NOT COMPLETE I'LL UPDATE IT EVERY FEW DAYS WHEN I GET A CHANCE TO TYPE IT UP!
Feel free to leave good/bad comments, remember this just the plotline and important facts (well more of an in depth outline but not that much depth on overall characters) anyway here you go...
----------
Phantasy Star V: The Battle for Algo IN DEPTH OUTLINE
Background: The Algo Solar System exists somewhere in space, it has three main planets Parma, Motavia, and Dezolis. This system has been plagued with a dark destruction every one-thousand years. Two-thousand years ago, the planet Parma was destroyed, because of this over the next thousand years the ultimate evil, the Profound Darkness was able to emerge from its seal. Thanks to a group of Protectors chosen by the Great Light, the Profound Darkness was defeated and cast into the abyss.
One-Thousand Years have since passed. Algo has regained stability and has recovered; the once pure desert of Motavia now has lush and pure green grass and trees, enabling the continued support of living things on the planet. Although the planet has regained stability resent events suggest that something dark is lurking on the planet and now it is attempting to wreck havoc on the planet.
The White Army created shortly after the people of Motavia learned and accepted the truth of the Profound Darkness, was created in order to train soldiers in order to fight any more oncoming threats that Algo could face. Fifteen years before our story takes place the leader of the White army mysteriously vanished and a new leader was elected, he renamed the army to The Black Army.
Along with the Black Army another group exists to train and develop skills of warriors, The Hunters Guild, the guild which trains and employs its members with work defeating monsters, helping people, and the like. The Hunters Guild has joined forces with the Black Army in order to bring about peace in Algo; however what both groups really want remains a mystery.
CHARACTERS: INTRODUCTION
Anza Lionlord – Anza was born in his hometown of Dale and has lived there ever since, he becomes a hunter after his parents die. Although he is the main character he doesn’t tend to think of himself as anything but a person who has had a hard life, although he lets things get him down he never lets it stop him from doing what he believes in.
Chaz – Anza’s childhood friend, although he is much younger the Anza he thinks of him as a good friend although Anza thinks of him as a little brother. Chaz is away from the town when Anza is forced to leave and Anza hasn’t seen him since.
Raven – Anza’s training partner, skillful in using two weapons at once and quite a speedy fighter; he has a strong bond and trust with Anza although they have a deep rivalry as well. Raven is the son of the Mayor of Aiedo.
Eirika – Raven and Anza’s Teacher, she is very demanding and loud but gains respect though her own natural power. She is very talkative and kind but isn’t afraid to be mean when she has to be. She seems to be hiding something.
Leah – Hector’s younger sister, is teamed up with Anza at one point and they become good friends. Leah and her brother have a strong bond although they’re personalities are completely different Leah is very cheerful and friendly.
Hector – Leah’s older brother. Although he is teamed up with Anza he, unlike Leah, quickly develops a hate for him, Hector is a brute and very strong willed. He doesn’t care what other people think or say about him; although he acts like that the one person he truly cares for and will open up to is Leah.
Akane – Grew up alone and having to fend for herself she is an accomplished hunter and tracker, she takes care of Anza and develops a crush on him after spending time with him. Although she is kind Akane was born with a rare disease and can’t overdo anything.
PART 1 – INTRODUCTION
Scene 1 – Murder
Anza is awakened by his childhood friend Chaz, Chaz being young is quite happy with given a job to go to the store for his parents and departs after telling Anza about it. Anza leaves to go home, when he arrives home he finds his Father drunk, standing over his mother holding a bloody knife and swearing at her. Anza becomes insane with rage and awakens his special ability Heaven’s Judgment, doing so his house is destroyed.
When Anza awakens he learns from the village elder that both his parents are dead and he is lucky to be alive, the elder then goes on to tell Anza that he has to leave the village in a hurry because soon men from the Black Army will arrive at the town to arrest him for the murder of his parents. Although the village is aware of the abuse Anza and his mother had suffered at the hands of his late father, because his father was a well known and greatly respected former Hunters Guild official that they won’t be able to overlook it. With little choice Anza leaves the village and heads into the forest to escape from the village. When he nears the exit he is ambushed by a group of soldiers, although Anza puts up a fight he is no match for them and is knocked out, the soldiers take him away.

Scene 2 – Training
[TAB]Anza awakens to find himself in the Hunters Guild, the chairman of the Hunter’s Guild, Domon aka “The White Lord” Introduces himself to Anza. Domon tells him that they are greatly interested on Anza’s special ability and Domon asks him if he wants to become a Hunter, Domon suggests this to Anza because he could learn to control that power and learn to use it to protect people, it would be a good direction for him to go in. And if he does so then all charges against him for the murder of his parents would be dropped, Anza agrees.
[TAB]
[TAB]Anza then meets his trainer, Eirika, and her student Raven. Although at first Eirika isn’t to happy with the idea of training two hunters when she learns that Anza is the son of Alexander Lionlord (Anza’s father) she agrees to teach him. After several months both Anza and Raven are doing well and have been awarded the rank of Trainee, as they continue there progress they start forming a rivalry between each other. As they begin to go on missions all seems well.
Scene 3 - Meeting
[TAB]During on mission as they are crossing the ocean Anza is thrown overboard and found by a young girl named Akane, Akane treats his wounds and helps him recover. Doing so Anza learns that she has lived in the forest all her life and she tries to help anyone she can, when she found Anza on the beach she brought him back to her small house and began to treat him. Akane then collapses putting Anza in a state of confusion, when Akane reawakens she explains that she was born with a very rare disease that is slowly killing her. Anza isn’t to happy to hear this and wants to help but she tells him that there isn’t any cure and that all she wants to do is live out what’s left of her life.
[TAB]Anza recovers as does Akane and he leaves her hoping to join up with Raven and Eirika although somewhat hesitant about leaving her alone. Anza meets up Raven and Eirika who thought he had died, together they finish out there mission and head back to the hunter’s guild.
Scene 4 – Hate and Love
[TAB]Anza and Raven graduate as trainees and become full fledged Hunters; the two begin to work as partners when they are assigned a co-partner mission. They then meet Hector and Leah, a brother and sister partner ship. Hector remembers Anza being the one he knocked out and brought back with him to the hunters guild with a small group and finds its annoying that he has become a hunter, Leah quickly warms up to Anza.
[TAB]The four start out on their mission, they arrive in the small desert town of Krup where they are asked to find a murder whose been on the lose killing select people. The four quickly hunt down the murder after staging a trap one night and find out that the murder is really a Hunter. Although they want to bring him in the hunter is quite strong and puts up a tuff fight, although they defeat him the Hunter dives off a cliff and can’t be found. Without turning the man in the mission is a failure. The group heads back to the Hunters Guild and Hector blames the fault on Anza. The four end up in an argument before they arrive; there is large tension between Anza and Hector.
Scene 5 – Plot
[TAB]Anza and Hector’s partnership ends and the two team’s part, Leah apologies for her older brother’s actions but Anza really doesn’t want to hear it. Anza decides to take a break and just enjoy life for awhile, while doing so he encounters a member of the Hunter’s Guild Staff talking to a man dressed in black. He overhears that the Staff Member named Ian is looking to form ties with the Black Army, Ian says he will become the next chairman once Domon dies, he tells the man in black that if he can kill Domon then they can form official ties and use the members of the Hunters Guild for what the Black Army wants. The man in black seems to agree. Anza is in shock over this.
[TAB]Anza tries to figure out what he should do, without any proof he can’t just accuse Ian of treason and plotting to commit murder against Domon. Being stuck between a rock and a hard place Anza confronts Domon about it telling him everything he herd, however just as he is doing so Eirika enters the room. Anza is relaxed by his former teacher and lets his guard down. Just when he does she takes Anza’s sword and strikes Domon in the heart, he dies soon after. Seconds later Ian and a group of soldiers arrive saying they saw the whole thing on a security camera, along with Eirika backing them up Anza is caught between a rock and a hard place and has no choice but to fight his way out. Although Anza easily beats the soldiers he can’t beat Eirika and it looks like he will lose. Anza loses himself in anger again at Eirka’s provoking and uses Heaven’s Judgment, completely beating her. Eirika’s dying words ask Anza to run and that she wants what’s best for the Hunters Guild, she asks him to not use the power of Heaven’s Judgment ever again, it is a power of pain, anger and hatred, and should not be used by him.
Scene 6 – Escape
[TAB]With the death of Domon and Eirika, Anza is looking more and more guilty he has no choice but to flee, although he is tempted to kill Ian he decides not and tells him that he owns him a favor in the future for sparing his life. Anza attempts to make an escape but is caught several times and has to defeat not only Soldiers but his fellow Hunters. Raven and Hector confront Anza near the same time, Anza tries to convince them of what happened by Hector doesn’t believe it, in the end Raven can’t make up his mind and allows Anza to escape. Having no where to turn to now Anza begins to wonder…
[TAB]Ian is named the next chairman and one of his first actions is to make The Black Army an official ally of the Hunter’s Guild, most hunters are surprised by this but they have little choice but to obey orders and accept missions, not much seems to change at first. During the next 4 years rumors begin to spread about the Black Army’s involvement in attacking and destroying towns without reason, as well as a surprising amount of decline in resources around the world, forests dying, water drying up in desert springs, the world is heading towards an unbelievable fate…

PART 2: THE BLACK ARMY
Scene 7 – Four Years Later
[TAB]Four years have passed since Anza escaped from the Hunter’s Guild and became a very well known fugitive. As he happens upon a burning town a woman asks him to save her daughter who fled the village and is being chased, just as Anza agrees to do so the woman dies. Anza soon finds two soldiers from the Black Army and a well known General and master Tech user named Devin. Anza easily defeats the soldiers and then takes on Devin and easily defeats him. Devin, having been wounded, retreats and disappears. Anza introduces himself to the girl and learns her name is Asuka. Although she is very afraid and in shock over everything that has happened to her, she agrees to go with Anza, they head for the nearby village of Westfall.
Scene 8 – Down Below
[TAB]Anza and Asuka stay at the Inn and rest, the next morning Anza surprisingly meets up with Raven and explains to him what’s going on, and asks Raven to take her to the Hunter’s Guild to seek asylum. Raven wants to help but he is on a mission, Anza offers to take up the mission for him if he will hurry and take her to the Hunter’s Guild, Raven agrees, Anza receives a note from Raven explaining the Mission, apparently at the local church in the back of the mountains a priest disappeared after reporting some very disturbing sounds coming from the main alter room. Anza goes to investigate and finds the missing Priests Journal, Anza reads it and learns that before the Priest vanished he had found and entrance to an underground facility that’s ages old. Anza learns of the entrance and heads in.
Anza arrives to find a factory like facility that he has never seen before; just as he arrives he counters a monster he has never seen before, although he easily defeats it. As Anza explores the factory he encounters a young looking and very beautiful girl, who seems to be part robot, the girl introduces herself as Demi, who is in charge of keeping Motavia’s Environmental stability, Demi explains the situation to Anza and he learns that many facilities such as this one have been taken over and have been producing a new form of Bio-Monster, because of this Demi has tried to regain control of these systems but whatever infected the computers has taken over the An-Shield an android defensive system, and has programmed it to attack anyone who tries to interfere with the computer. Once Anza learns of this he agrees to help Demi and they arrive at the main computer room and they are attacked by an An-Shield, together they defeat it and shut down the system, thankfully Demi is able to restore the system to its original state but she must remain there for the time being in order to fix all the problems that were caused in this area. Demi tells Anza that there are many other systems like this and that she hopes to be able to get his help at a later time. Demi gives him a special item that’s implanted in his ear so she can talk to him at any time, and vise versa. Anza then leaves to hopefully meet up with Raven and Asuka.
Scene 9 – Chase
[TAB]Anza explores the Ors Forest on his was to the Hunter’s Guild, there he finds an unconscious and wounded Raven, after healing him Raven tell him that Devin and some other soldiers showed up when they were rushing and attacking him when he wasn’t paying attention then took off with the girl. Anza realizes that they probably want to kidnap her and not kill her and they chase Devin and his men though the forest, finally they encounter and beat Devin and his flunkies, Devin retreats, Akane is even more scared now then ever, Anza tries to explain what’s going on to her but she just doesn’t understand why the Black Army would be after her. The three depart for the Hunters Guild.
Scene 10 - Favor
[TAB]Anza’s group arrives at the Hunter’s Guild and Anza nearly gets assaulted by the guards as he walks into town, thanks to Raven’s help no one lays a hand on him but the town seems to avoid him at all costs, making Akane very suspicious of Anza. Raven forms a meeting with Ian now the Chairman of the Hunter’s Guild, Raven reports what he encountered trying not to bring Anza into it. However when Raven is unable to answer some of the questions Anza steps in and answers for him, his appearance sends more guards after him but Ian stops them and lets him speak. Anza explains what happened to Akane and the village and how the Black Army seems to want to kidnap her. None of the council believes anything Anza has told them even with Raven vouching for them. Ian won’t give aid to a known murderer and the council agrees. Raven suggests that they head to Aiedo to ask his father for help instead, however Ian suggests they stay the night before departing on that long road. Anza then realizes that Ian must have already alerted the Black Army to where Akane’s current location is, Anza then confronts him on it, the council thinks Anza has completely lost his mind, Ian asks the council to leave and he will handle the rest of this, after doing so Ian tells the truth but no ones going to be able to believe it, Anza realizes they have to leave right now and tells Ian to open up the back road to Aiedo and tells him he will use his favor from before this one time, Ian reluctantly agrees but warns them that it wont be long before the Black Army arrives anyway. Anza’s group departs again heading for Aiedo.

[size=small][Edit by gm2987 on [TIME]1125198015[/TIME]][/size]

Hector, Raven, and Akane are separated from Anza and Leah, after they confirm that they each are alive they say they will meet up later, and they tell Raven’s group to go on, Leah and Anza head back though to the entrance looking for another way out of the cave, while Raven’s group exits the cave and heads for the nearest city to rest.
Scene 13 – Unlimited Alexander
Raven’s group arrives in Kozo a desert village that’s still close to the grasslands and spends the night. During the night Akane questions Raven about Anza and Raven tells him all he knows, Hector then tells them both that it’s likely that he is telling the truth but he still has killed many innocent people, although Raven doesn’t like it, he knows he is right about that. In the morning the group sets out again and in a small destroyed town they encounter the Black Army, along with General ‘Unlimited’ Alexander.
Anza receives a call from Demi asking to help her in another factory, Anza explains what he learned about Demi and about Motavia to Leah and they head out to help Demi, meanwhile Raven’s group is being overwhelmed by Alexander’s Unlimited amount of fighting energy and retreats back to Kozo.
----
Posting this several places, on the PSOBB offical forums I've got a lot of good replys but since you all are more of the original series fans I figured I should post it here... Anyway leave good/bad comments, try to say what you liked what you didn't like, what you loved, what you hated... asking for a lot from an outline but all comments welcome ^_^
Note: right now I have basically all the main parts of the story completely thought up, its just a matter of putting them into words ^_^ I'll add a new post once I add more.
Edit: Character limit is a fricking bitch!
[size=small][Edit by gm2987 on [TIME]1125198051[/TIME]][/size]

You know.. Most RPG's that come out, the makers don't reveal the whole STORY, just parts.
Revealing the plot makes no one want to play it.
Why play it when you know it all?
