Resources for fan-game makers

Character profiles & CGs are quite available around, but has anyone seen a page distributing sprites, tile-sets & music ripped from original series?
They're of good value for re-make and fan projects.

I've seen a site or two online that had PS sprites that were ripped. Also, it's not really that hard to save images from a ROM either.

Some time back when a friend and I were thinking about doing a fan MMORPG for PSII, I ripped many things for it. However, my friend and I decided that it wasn't worth it to continue the project.

...in case you're eager to fix the colors ripping the palette as well.

Here's a site with monsters, profiles & CGs. Character sprites also exists, but only standing left frame is available :/

I know a couple of good resource sites. This one has the best ripped PS resources our of all the ones I know. The rest of them are more focused on fan made resources not ripped ones. Anyways, the site for good quality ripped resources is:
http://sdb.drshnaps.com/SpritesGenesis.htm

I hope that's useful. Note: the sprites only face up, down and right. Simply reverse the direction in microsoft paint, photoshop or any other program to get a sprite facing/walking in the left direction. The order of the sprites and other resources are out of order so anyone can use the ones I have already made usable in my fan game, Gryz' quest. :D

As for songs, I know a site but they only have midis. Pscave has more then they do. The ones they do have, pscave does also so it's not really useful. Let me know if anyone needs more resource sites. :)

If your system has become slow, reinstall Windows. It's that simple. :)

You could also give it some extra RAM, if you think that'll help.

But buy a new PC? I find that a lot of people buy a new PC for bad reasons. Often their current PC will do just fine if they at least took care of it.

My current PC is currently in the process of taking a long dirt nap. He's got a "Do not disturb... ever" sign around it's motherboard.

the information on the harddrives may be salvagable, but the chances of that are slim enough to merit not bothering with it.

I would say RPG Maker 2000 (RM2k). It has pretty nice grapics, it's easy to learn how everything works and you can also import raw custom made resources. Just use Google or any other search engine and search for "RPG Maker". You'll easily find all of them for free download.

If you are getting RPG Maker 2000, you can look here for help:

That topic helped me when I was just starting to learn now everything works. I hope it helps you too. :)

I would like to have PSIII sprites and tiles. However, while everyone is gaga over PSIV, all the other games have been left in the cold.

There are, however, PSIII sprites and some tiles on Fringes of Algo, but I bet that site was either shoddily coded or coded for IE, as the Download button doesn't work.
