I hate doing this as my first time post, but I wanted to get the word out to PS fans about a book I recently published: Xandoria Saga Collection. It's a pen and paper RPG based on the themes of the PS Two, with added material for PS1 and one of the Gaiden games. People familiar with the Xandoria product line have called it the closest thing to Phantasy Star on the market. I am also picking away at another book that runs like PSU. More to come on that later. I am awaiting PSO 1&2 in the mail and already beat the story modes for PSU and PSU Illuminus.

Here is the back cover:
Xandoria Saga Collection

Only PS forums in that case, I guess, as it is clearly PS-based. The non-generic names and terminology are changed for obvious reasons.

I think there have been posts regarding this before, but that might have been on the PSDB. At any rate have a "demo version" of the rules on my computer dated October 2004. Haven't play tested it though.

I had posted the Gaiden PDF a while back for free.

As for PS Cave, been using this site for YEARS while I played through PS1-4. It helped after I lost my PS2 handbook that came with the game.

The structure of Xandoria Saga Collection is broken into two game mechanics. One Fuzion and one TBS. If you were to take Xandoria and PS Cave you could run a PS2 pen and paper RPG. Not to mention a PS1 game. God knows I used a lot of the resources on PS Cave to help with some stats and themes. Xandoria itself is original, but the game was designed off of the PS games.

Currently I am working on a PSU style game.

And I am a HUGE fan of the Phantasy Star series. Heck, my 6 year old runs around the stores jumping on colored squares yelling "Photon recharge and Power Up!"

Just some updates.

The Xandoria Saga Collection went out in PDF format and sold really well.

The next big project is Xandoria Galaxies. This game uses pretty much the same mechanics as the PS video games, but we use dice. Playtesting has gone well. We were even bale to use a guidebook for weapon stats at one point to see if it truly did emulate games like PS Online..and it did!

I will keep people posted on the progress. The first book will be a cross of PS III and PS Online. Xandoria Expanded (which I have already started) covers a more PSU theme....maybe.. I want to take it down some long term story arcs that PSU doesn't quite match. Still look for loads of monsters and PS gameplay. I have some sample pieces on the Dilly Green Bean Games Facebook group.

Until next time!
