What I like about Tarantoul is the fact that it doesn't go too far from it's ancestor "the Tarantul" Perhaps with the years that pasted, the Palma's started adding the "O" to it's name Thanks Wing-0 now let's see what others think.

Soon Missagh, things have been hectic here with my father being in the hospital and my mom scared to death. I had to put a few things on hold for now but I'm still writing the script when I have the time.

Alright update time

I had a few hours tonight and decided to finish my spider animation, I think it could be better and I'll probably revisit it after I make a few others but here's the animation.



Like I said, it's not perfect but it works.

Hey everyone

I've been working on a new monster sprite but the more I think about it the less I think it's a good idea. Still I finished the first sprite and I'd like your opinion on it...
Warning, it's a pretty radical idea...



The monster's name is Thorn <-- could change if someone has a better name for it, as you can see, it's a flower, well a killer flower to be exact. It attacks with it's thorn like tentacles in it's center area after turning towards the unlucky hero it chooses.
My problem is that... I don't know... a flower? Seems weird to me now that it's done but in any case, what say you?

You know what scares some asthmatics more than spiders? Flowers...

I'm a controlled asthmatic so I have no problem with them, but some of them would cringe at the sight of your monster.

I suggest a pollen attack.

Also, for a name, I'd call it Death Flower or Death Blossom.

Why do I keep making monsters that scare you anyway? lol Do you have a "thing" with Slimes? <-- which would probably be my next attempt

rodrigo Do you really think I should finish this? The Idea I have is pretty good and having a second attack like a pollen attack could be a great special skill as well <-- Thanks Wing-0.

Might as well see what I can do with it. I'll post something soon.

If you make a slime that attacks by extending tentacle like appendages, you would have an instant classic... Those things are around some of the worst hentai exponents... Yet, by not having more than a "punch" to the face of a character, you can avoid any and all references. =P

lol my idea was to make the slime form a hand that strikes the party member, but I'm sure tentacles would be a, ummmm, classic thing

I'll have to make a quick demo and show it to you when it's done, you seem to have a keen eye for those things.

LOL I once had the opportunity of discovering a few of these intricacies myself when I was younger I will leave it at that my friend.

Quick update

I'm still working on the flower monster but I have to change a few things and that might take some time so I decided to work on something else for a little while.

Here's a new monster sprite



I figure that every PS game as a Frog type monster apart from PS1 so I decided to make one for that planet and of course, have fun naming it. I have no clue what to name it myself but the only thing I think it shouldn't be named is Froggie <_<
