My PSIII and IV revamps

As some of you may know, I'm working on remaking PSI, II, III, and IV in Generation format, and I/II have already been made, so what about III/IV? Well, I would've needed music, so I've already started on remaking the music. Only got one song done, though:

Opening Credits to PSIII

If Missagh wishes to put this on PSCave, I have no objections. I'll probably post more soonish.

If you find any errors or things to improve on, please let me know. I always find room for improvement.

Indeed.

I'd lower the sound of... guitar (?) in town music, though.

You could send your music to ocremix.org. ;)

I don't even like the guitar in that. Once I get higher-quality instruments, I'm remaking the song again.

I think (fortunately) internet is full of sound samples. :)
I'm currently looking for a good midi sound font collection for free.

Just finished up revamping the town theme a bit further by fine-tuning the guitar, and replacing one of the flutes with a piccolo to compliment the higher notes.

Now that's a true remix. Nice expanding of the main theme, I live how you've handled the bass as it stops from time to time. How the guitar continues at the end is also a very nice end.
May I give my opinion on something? During the second coming of the theme I'd let the bass continue all throughout. Still though I love this, it shows how big of fan you are by completely knowing that cue by hart for you to remake it like this. I can really see this in the actual game that I hope will live up to it's hipe. I mean I think it's safe to say that anyone here and true fans out there would love to play PS3 as it was supposed to be played.

BTW I've been re listening to the PS 3 Main Theme and I have to say that it's probably the best remix of it out on the net. I've always wanted to hear actual instruments playing that beautiful theme amongst my favorite of the series. BTW your samples are very nice, especially the french horns one, They actually sound like the ones used by Media Venture / Remote Controle composers or even Hans Zimmer .

I'm amazed that you like them so well. I personally think all of them could be done better.
Either way, I could really use some opinions on this one here:

I'm listening to it now, there is a lot going on in there, is that a triangle playing in the back? I'd turn that down and then do the same with the piano. perhaps even the clarinet a little. Apart from that, the cue is lovely, I love the flute playing the theme, well the flute itself sound authentic so of course that helps ;) the other instrument playing along side the flute, is that a pan flute? It brings out the flute very nicely.
BTW you're an artist so of course you'll always think that it could be better, but trust me, there great.
Next please ;) hehe
