This is the project I've been talking about in that other topic. Included are the PC (windows) and PSP executables to play it with, though it can be played on most other systems that run OpenBOR. Read the readme.txt, and definately watch the How To Play animation in game.

Basically, it's a PS action game. Up to 4 players, 21 different characters to play as altogether.

Have fun!

It might not be the most balanced thing in the world so far but holy crap this is fun. Having each of the characters being unique definitely adds to this.

Glad you guys like it so far. And yeah, it isn't balanced as good as my other games... but the more characters you add, the harder it is to prevent some from being cheap while making sure each is unique. :)

That's actually a good thing... I play it every now an again when I'm waiting for something, it's an awesome time killer. I wish I had more ppl to play with!

I tried it out, and it was pretty good. My highest score was with Nei, around 85k+. I found out I could only score a maximum of 80k+ with Alys and Kyra... I wonder why. Amusing though, I cleared the stages with Alys in less than 5 minutes. Love them multi-hitters, though it doesn't present much of a challenge. I'll start trying out the party combinations now. :)

Great time killer, as Edge says.
Oh, and may I ask where you got that awesome PS1 intro tune? I love it to death. :D

It's the title screen for PS: Generation 1 on the PS2. Actually, the song was literally ripped from this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lOo8r_vFfg I still need to thank that TaylorK guy for uploading all that music...

By the way, any of you know if Generation 1 battle sprites exist? Would love to put the new and improved old team in. :P

you can grab the real PS1G1 & PS2G2 full quality songs from Zophar's Domain. theyll play in Winamp with the "Highly Experimental" plugin and can be converted to whatever format you need.

another option is the official remixed music from "Phantasy Star Sound Collection", its awesome IMO :)
(youll need to search torents for that)

i cant download from Mediafire :(
anyone post a mirror?

There's a bunch of mirrors (thanks to various homebrew sites). Here's probably the most reliable, though: http://dl.qj.net/psp/homebrew-games/pha ... -demo.html

NickyP that is brilliant! Very different indead. I have to try it with more than 1 player. Would love to add this to the Fan games archives upon the full release.

I haven't touched this in a while, but since I've been redoing my PSO project, I kinda got back in the mood for this game.

So, what would you guys suggest to make this better? I'm open to ideas.
