She's being worked on even now! I'll needle my artiste for the sketch in a day or two.

Half-finished Orakio. Cape, armor, and bandanna, along with finishing is next.

Very nicely rendered version of Orakio!

WHOA ! Laya looks... divine ! The only thing that disturbs me are her eyes, her lower eye black lines. It is strange to have a black line (lineart) on a "lineless" drawning. Seems to me her eyes are "pasted" on her face. And a detail, I don't remember she has blue eyes (in my memory, only Maia, Mieu and sweet Kara has blue ones).

The PS2 mechanician also looks perfect ! But he doesn't as "rogue" as his original avatar.

Adan is the only drawning I'm not fan of. Too "anime" looking, too slick, nothing special...Although technically, the drawning is clear and good.

Prince Orakio, at last, looks cool. Awesome, in fact. But once again, eyes lined in black on a drawning without lines seems me strange :) . The shoulder pad also seems me strange, I don't understand how it stands. And, finally : why the same shoulder pad on Orakio and Adan (yes, I observe the drawnings, because I'm impressed [in good way]), while 1.000 years separe them ?

I know, I'm acid in some ways, but it's because jealousy !!

I'm sure the eyes are pasted on, but they worked for me, since it emphasized them. I got tired of trying to get across that I wanted indigo blue eyes, so I let it slide at purple, though canon-wise, they should be indigo blue. *grumps*

Hey! Don't dis on Adan! I like his quite a bit, and it's by the same artist as the Kain one! I'm just too poor to afford a background.

As for the shoulder pad, take it up with Toyo Ozaki! That's the way she drew 'em, and that's the way Orakio's armor shows up in all three of his officialish art, too!

You'd be surprised how little armor really changes over the ages...

Anyway, Gwyn lineart!

Gwyn always was the best looking character in that game. Probably something about how different hers and her brother's portraits were.

As such, <3 Gwyn.

Looks awesome! At a glance though, I miss her signature locks of hair that somehow come escaping around her neck. (Funny, I always imagined those being braids, but reviewing images from the game, I don't see where I might have gotten that impression from... I guess they're parts of her fringe, stuck behind her ears..?)

For Kain, I didn't like the drawning because of the background, but really for the character. He's how I like them : not "overseen", proper, lot of nuances and detailed. I didn't know Kain and Adan were drawn by the same artist, I find the two drawnings (not mention the Kain backdrop) have different styles. In another hand, I'm sure Gwyn is being drawned by Adan (and Kain)'s artist, right ? :)

Speaking of her, effectively she is nice-looking... Altough ALL characters in game are charismatic (except Ryan IMO), and I rather like her mother or Alair ! I feel that Gwyn's avatar (ingame) has a strange expression, between kindness, happiness, and a bit of malice/joice of young people... I wish an artist could reproduce this some day ! Anyway, the lineart looks cool.

Kain's a dirty mechanic who part-times as a walking EMP, so it's a bit hard to compare his "nuances and details" (dirt and grime) with a prince. =p Besides, Kain's hanging out while Adan is advancing to attack, so that may have something to do with it.

And yes, Gwyn is being brought to life by killaflip, who worked on Kain and Adan. I think her expression is happy and mischievous, myself, so I'm glad you like her!

Thinking of, Moonlight, do you think you could give Adan-sama a background?

Kain's taking a moment from bustin' up mecha to flash that devilish smirk of his at all his lady fans. ;)

Man, I really need to get back on track with my commissions. I have stuff for Hugh ready to send to killaflip.

Gwyn is suitably cute here; it fits her character really well. I also like the movement in her dress/toga. The Laya Trio's outfits look miles better when they're moving about, otherwise I'm not a fan of their drape.

Tanith, I begin to suspect you have a strong dislike for blondes. Just saying!
