Thought of editing, but eh, double-posting won't kill you. Read Departure. Totally sad tale, lots of emotion. Downers! Boo! But well-executed downer, at least? I do wish you'd drawn it out a bit more, if only so the reader could suffer on pins and needles longer, but it works!

EDIT: NOT triple posting. Read the two new chapters of your PS tale. I snickered quite a bit, but verily, I doth protest the Alair end!

Yes, I figured you would not be 100% behind Nial + Alair. Don't worry, I still have plans for Laya, Adan, and Gwyn (and not everything's going to be a love story, even though that seems to be what drives a lot of high school students). As far as the pacing goes - my plan is to introduce all the characters first in all their cliched teenage stereotypical glory and then go back and mix things up a bit. So I guess I'm not really going through all of the game's events in order; our first generation heroes will be back, don't worry (and I wouldn't completely rule out Rhys/Lena...). To be honest, I haven't even really figured out how to end the whole thing, though Tanith had some hilarious suggestions.

...how many episodes of Degrassi would Tanith's endings fit in? Of course, that's the only teen drama I've heard of so....

Just read Tales from P.S. 3. No grammar errors spotted. I normally automatically skip anything that has the scent of teenagers or drama, but you've injected quite a good deal of humor that made the shorts quite palatable for my narrow tastes. I laughed my way through most of it- a good deal due to the teen flavors, but you were definitely wanting that flavor. Absolutely loved the ending of episode 2.

Geez, the only time I found High School that entertaining was when I was covering my tracks after I managed to break into the firewall.... I wonder if Wren's hackable?

And the next chapter is finally up! (I had a really busy week, boo.) I'm usually not a fan of ditzy, "dumb blonde/green" Thea portrayals, but alas, someone had to fill that role...

Just read The Gift of Fear. I didn't spot any errors when I read through. Oh, man, do I have something to say if I ever have a child going on a first date.... Good story despite the stigma I always attach to teen dramas, I'll be waiting for the next one.

(My music player hit Uriah Deep's Stealin' while I read this one, and I immediately broke out in laughter when I drew parallels between it and this story.)

My sense of humor sucks too much to laugh at this. :( What I did enjoy, though, were the couple Phantasy Star III references that came out of nowhere. Lune using a boomerang? A Ford Escapipe? Brilliant. :)

A Ford Escapipe. Really? That's almost as cheesy as the infamous Bat Credit Card.

I do admit to being highly amused! Ayn absolutely terrified of Lyle, as most teen boys would be when confronted with a stern, foreboding figure walking about with an eyepatch and a scar where that eye should be. I'd love to know what Lyle was thinking!

Escape + Escalade = Escapipe? It did get him out of there in a hurry, though. :D

I can't promise Laya/Adan/Gwyn just yet, but Adan's coming up next (with a brief mention of Gwyn, but she'll get her own introductory story later on).

I caught that. Goodness, do you want to join me in pun hell? It's such a punishing place to be stuck in!

#5 is up! I feel the need to point out that I went all old-school on this one - I didn't have internet access at work this past week, so I was forced to use a NOTEBOOK and a PENCIL when writing most of it. :D

:(

I didn't enjoy it like I did your previous tales. Sorry. orz (bowing head in apology)

While I can see Crys and Adan having personalities similar to those portrayed and (up to a point) the two Karas, it was a really stupid idea on their parts to do that. I've never heard of ANY teen boys with ideas that dumb. Seriously. Picking the wrong girls is one thing, which they may conceivably do, but after...eh, killed the suspension of disbelief for me. orz

Didn't find any errors or arguments to note in "The Mystery of Genetics." I think I can sum my thoughts up in a couple sentences this time: The best plans are the ones that blow up in your face. Wait, scratch that, not best... Most entertaining is more like it.

I disagree with Black Sword this time- I've heard of the concept of wife swapping, but from what I've read about it (adult fiction from the 1970s), the wives generally aren't aware of the swap. Something about getting angry for being treated like trading commodities. Crys and Adan just tried to take a page outta the wrong book concerning girlfriends, and got burned for it.

Black Sword - *shrug* To each their own, not everything's going to be a winner with everybody. I will say, though, that when I taught a 9th grade class two years ago (that met 1st period, so 8:00am), I learned to never underestimate the stupidity of some teenage boys, especially if it's before noon. I wept for the future of humanity a few times before I remembered that they'll probably outgrow it eventually. I never witnessed a situation exactly like this one, but one of my coworkers overheard part of a conversation between two girls that was similar.

carlsojos - "Trading commodities" indeed. I think the Karas may have felt a little like they were being treated like things, not people, and resented that they were considered interchangeable. :P

I took a short break from the PSIII silliness and other projects and wrote a quick (as in, super-short) PSII story.

The Forgotten Song

I usually avoid political commentary at all costs, but not only was I inspired my my desire to write something from the first-person point of view, the current situation here and what so many public schools in the US are facing is something that greatly affects me and so many people I know. I guess I got lucky that it adapts so well into the PSII universe. :|

(and that's enough rambling for today)
