This one is pretty funny. I like the idea of Lutz being an arrogant jerk who has to be blackmailed by "The G" into helping.

I have just a little nitpickery from the nitpick zone though. Lutz is taller than Alis. (And Odin is taller than Lutz.) I believe the following is canonical:

Alis
Birth Date May 25, AW 327
Height 5' 3.8" / 162 cm

Odin
Birth Date February 26, AW 314
Height 6' 3.6" / 192 cm

Noah Lutz
Birth Date March 24, AW 315
Height 6' 0.4" / 184 cm

(Source: http://www.psalgo.com/profiles/alis.html and http://www.psalgo.com/profiles/noah-lutz.html )

And while a canonical picture that provides a good comparison of the Alis and Lutz is surprisingly hard to find, I believe the picture on this page qualifies: http://8bitcity.blogspot.com/2011/05/8- ... theme.html (You can click on it to make it bigger.)

I'd like to know where those Fringes of Algo pages got their information from. As far as I know, the only thing we know is that Alis is 15 years old.

I don't wanna screw around with trying to surf the board with my PS3, but a year ago skymander posted hi-res scans of an art book showing all the main characters. Rika 's image had her weight and height on it - I can't remember if the measurements of Alis was also in it.

Yeah. Aggravatingly, they don't cite their sources on those pages, but like carlosjos, I strongly suspect that they're getting their info from a Sega publication. (http://www.psalgo.com/publications.html) Perhaps the "Phantasy Star Collection", which includes the following intriguing spread: http://www.psalgo.com/full-image-1130.html

*Sigh* yes, I am well aware of the height differences between the characters and really have only one reason why it is not shown in my comic: Because I suck at drawing ;_;
I like to say that I go by the height of how they look on the game when outside, but that is only a sad attempt to hide my lack of perception in my drawings.

This is really a tricky line to try to walk. On the one hand, the last thing I want to do is make you feel down about your work. But on the other hand, I want to encourage you to try to improve it -- because, as you mention, your art is a little bit... let's call it "imperfect" -- and I don't know if I can give that encouragement without offering specific constructive criticisms.

When I first started reading your comic months ago, some of my first impressions were along the lines of: "Wow this artwork is really kind of terrible, but I love the concept. I think this guy needs more practice, and the best way to get more practice would be to keep drawing, so I really hopes he keeps going with this."

One of the reasons I mentioned relative heights specifically is because (and I don't know anything about drawing so I might be completely wrong about this) it seemed like it would be something relatively easy to improve upon if you try. And I'm not even talking about the problem of fitting Myau into a panel that also includes someone else, that's obviously a much trickier issue and I don't have a solution to suggest. But making Alis a little bit shorter than Lutz, and Lutz a little bit shorter than Odin sounds to me like a feasible starting point for improvement.

Don't worry about it Bad Hair Man, constructive critisism is something an artist needs. To get better at drawing is the second biggest reason I started this comic in the first place. I do try to make Odin slightly taller than Alis and Noah while Alis and Noah are the same height.
I will try to take your suggestion though, and make Alis slightly shorter than Noah in future pages I draw (though you probably won't see this for a while as I already have about 50 more pages sketched out)
I do hope that the art never gets in the way of the jokes though and everyone continues to enjoy this comic :)

50 pages sketched out ??? Whoahhh !
This last page is as always Fantastic ! No matter the cheracters weren't at the "good" height because it's a work of fiction and more... a parody comic. Keep up the good work ! But all "critics" are good to hear, I agree

look here : http://www.psalgo.com/boards/phantasy-star-collection-saturn-nero-and-myaw-vt3404.html for Myau and Nero, and there is another for Alisa and Tyrone but not for Lutz so I don't know where this come from for this birthdate !
It's from Phantasy Star Collection on saturn, the gallery.

This thread used to be about some webcomic or other, right?

Regarding the current comic: from Alis's spacey smile and *nod* *nod*, one gets the impression that she isn't really listening to what Noah is saying either. Poor girl probably got lost staring into his dreamy eyes.
