I contacted Tryphon last month, I want to say. He's working on two other projects, but he's made some progress in starting to work on PSG:1's major bug. (Bought a modded PS2!) Kyence I have heard nothing with. Tryphon told me that she doesn't want to work on the games more, so I've contacted her asking if I can have her blessing to fix PSG:2's lingering typos. I've heard nothing so far from her, and if I don't hear anything by the time Tryphon is read to work on the Generation games again, I'm considering going on ahead and doing it without her.

I'm pretty powerless without Tryphon though and I'm really sorry for that.

It's a pity... A localization effort so close to perfection...

I can't play this game on emulator because my PC is junk. However, I got a PS2 console here.
I was just hoping for good news about this bug that causes freeze on real hardware...

Dang!

I really was waiting for this project to "complete". I guess I can start playing PSG1 now (already) at least.

I've been away from this thread for a while cause I'll be honest: just coming to this thread is downright depressing for reasons I have already stated (I finished my part in 2015-still doesn't work on my softmoded ps2!) I emailed Kyence awhile ago and did hear from her. I can confirm she is no longer working on this project, and said she doesn't have the most recent files. She says she has no problem if I work on the data files, so I'm sure you can too (ie the typo fixes.) All she asks is that her username remains in the credits.

Can you guys show all these project files to us? I can take a look on them, and, others pals might also do it as well.
Is there some prequesite in terms of knowledge about programming languages?

I only have PSG:1's raw script files. Nothing helpful.

I'm still really hoping for a bug fix for the random item drop freeze after combat on physical hardware (PS2).

Please please please

I'd kinda say if it's been this long and Typhon doesn't want to touch this again, do it....

In all of this, did hacking the game to translate it make it possible to figure out the actual requirements to revive Nei, rather than "see every line of dialogue"?

Besides all speaking, there are some small side quests... This page might provide more information

Chi89333 and I actually made a guide for Nei's resurrection. https://pastebin.com/qXS1g8zA I can confirm that it works:

That procedure is absurd.

Is there a way to look at a save file and see if it has the flags set to revive Nei (or to manually set the flags yourself), assuming you have some kind of way to access a save file (such as emulating the game)?

you can use a cheat code to put Nei back on the team, yeah. idk it's kind of satisfying to do it yourself, but there's a gameshark codes guide on GameFAQs that has a way to hack Nei back onto the team. it acts like you revived her iirc.

Some guys share the save file in internet with that procedure done :)

Started playing this week, since my old system didn't support PCSX2 without loads of tweaking! So much fun! Thanks to everyone involved!
