The story is about Li Meifon, a 16 years old heiress to a big company that gives the service of escorting trading and other types of ships from pirates for free. In typical anime fashion, the girl has some odd past and it has to be revealed during the course of the series.
I just watched episode 4, and can safely recommend it to anyone who likes science fiction, spaceships and 90s era anime.
