I'm confused about something...

Maybe I'm misremembering some detail. Help me out here.

Seeing as a new Dark Force is released every thousand years, and the fight between the Great Light and the Profound Darkness happened billions of years prior to the events of the first game, how is it that there aren't more Protectors than the ones shown in Phantasy Star IV? Should there not have been someone who fought and defeated Dark Force 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000...years before Phantasy Star I?

If so, why didn't anyone in Algo mention this? Why weren't they counted as Protectors?

If not, why not? Was the Dark Force from PS1 the first one that was released? And if that's the case, what took the PD so long?

Dark force didn't come through until Lashiec weakened the barrier.

What Lutz25 posted is what the Compendium says, but that was made up after the fact. Le Roof explicitly says that the seal has a cycle where its power fluctuates.

I dont think PS1's DarkFalz was the first one.

Who knows how many battles there have been, but to add them all would have made the last fight in PS4 a war lol.
