Nice.
I expected those evil types of monsters to be pretty easy. Fire seems to be the worst enemy for Raja.
I am NaN!

Fire is most definitely the worst for Raja.

He has a x3 multiplier (weak) for Factor 3 (Foi/Gifoi/Nafoi, Flaeli, Fire Breath), and a x1 multiplier for Factor 5 (Wat/Giwat/Nawat). This is consistent with enemies: the biomonsters on Motavia (most, if not all) are weak to F5 and resist F3. It's the opposite for Dezolis biomonsters.

Gryz is weak to F3 and resists F5. This makes the battle with Xe-A-Thouls nearly impossible for Gryz. In Raja's case, he doesn't have to worry a whole lot about bosses with fire based attacks (Juza, Gy-Laugiah, Sa-Lews, and PD1 are the only enemies with a fire based attack). Unfortunately, he can't equip the Ceramic Shield, which resists F3.

Sa-Lews is absurdly difficult for Raja. It's out of order, but I'll go fight Sa-Lews now and record it. I probably will not win on the first try anyway. You'll see. Raja had to grind 18 levels (61 to 79) to stand a chance against Sa-Lews.

It has to be the Thunderclaw, by the way. Sa-Lews is immune to F1 (most physical attacks, Hewn, Zan, Corrosion, Phononmasr), F3 (Foi, Flaeli), F4 (Gra), F8 (Holyword), F9 (Brose), F10 (Diem, Vol, Gelun, Dthspell), F11 (Bindwa, Moonshade, Shadow, Earth), F12 (Spark, Hijammer), F13 (Efess, St. Fire), and F14 (Explode, Negatis).

The only way Raja could deal damage without the Thunderclaw would be attacking with the Laco Rod (F2) or Psycho Wand (F6), and he needs the magic defense. Sa-Lews counters a physical attack with Legeon, which is better for Raja than Flaeli, but the problem is that he can still use Flaeli when Raja needs to heal (and for a LOT more damage).

I beat DF2 on the first try. Now, trying to record it, I keep dying.

Holy shit, Raja defeated the Profound Darkness?! That's one powerful pun-making priest!

He sure did. Rune and Seth did, too, though I keep forgetting to upload the video of Seth.

Raja is my favorite so all I have to say is... You are a true hero.

Well...thank you. I'm glad someone appreciates it, because it was very hard and tedious at times.

Beating Profound Darkness is a walk in the park compared to this.
