I'm doing solo Hahn this time around

He's like Seth with techniques. Seth does have better agility as well as F11/F13 resistance, however.

After this, I'll do Demi, Gryz, Alys, and that will probably be it. No need to do Chaz/Rika/Wren/Kyra, because they won't be hard.

You ever been in a car accident where you can totally see it's going to happen, everything seems to move in slow motion, but you know you're screwed and there's nothing you can do to stop it?

That's what it's like getting ambushed by a Flyscreamer in solo play.

I beat Gy at level 32, and went with two Psy Shields.

I did the same with Zio, at level 38, and I almost screwed myself over. Hahn was not capable of dealing any more damage than he did. The last Nazan finished him off.

I went from 38 to 39, farmed nine Star Dews, and beat DF1 easily. I died a bunch of times on the way to him, but the Plasma Field is awesome.

Xe-A-Thoul might be the most interesting boss in solo play. He's either extremely easy (Seth, Raja) or insanely difficult (Gryz, and to a lesser extent Rune).

Hahn can equip the Plasma Field, which is really good, because he'd have a hell of a time if he couldn't. The downside is that his Agility is mediocre and his Mental isn't high enough to reliably survive a round of attacks, meaning he has to go first to force them to use their Thunderblast counter rather than Giwat/Gizan/attack.

This means that I have to grind more. Using the Swift Helm on the first turn puts you in far too deep a hole and isn't worth it.

I decided to go to level 47 before trying the Xe-A-Thouls again. I ended up just using the Swift Helm on the first turn, hoping I didn't die, then using Nazan every turn and hopefully surviving. I did eventually pull it off.

Haven't beaten Lashiec yet. Level 50. Stay tuned.

I died about half a dozen times, but I did beat Lashiec at level 50.

I tried to beat DF2 a few times at level 60, but it was just such a small buffer. I did so at level 62, with Psy Circlet/Reflect Shield/Reflect Shield/Cyber Suit (which I made available, as Hahn would be stuck with the Graphite Suit until endgame otherwise.

I did. Demi too.

So I've done Raja, Rune, Seth, Gryz, Hahn, and Demi.

I ranked the relative difficulty level of each:
