PSO 1 & 2 compatability with III

Let's not also consider that the first ever PSO hackers were the JAPANESE.
Gamers who try to hack everything, worse than the japanese/chinese.
You can't stop someone like that.
It's the principle they follow about blaming the victim.

Did someone say "racist?"
Just because the first hackers were Japanese (it came out over there first anyway) it doesn't refelct on Sega, just because they are of the same race!

Eh.. Read it more closely.
Gamers who hack everything are worse than the japanese/chinese.
And earlier I spoke of japanese hackers.
Can you not correlate?
Look at the Korean MMORPG market, Nprotect and other anti hacking tools have to be used. THey only work 30 percent of the time, But it's something. The gamers don't respect the TOS.
Majority of online gamers don't respect TOS here. So they are just as bad.
It is not racism when the comment is based on fact. Never said it reflected on Sega.
Sega can only do so much, WHat they do is overshown by the amount of hacking wishing to be done. Gamers don't respect the game rules. It's fact.
P.S. Not every comment on a group is racist, especially when backed by facts. Facts speak for themselves.

[Edit by Lord Khyron on [TIME]1113526966[/TIME]]

My apologies then, I was just basing my comments on the fact that after I said Sega were effectively under siege you said "Let's not also consider that the first ever PSO hackers were the JAPANESE. " as if that had anything to do with Sega whatsoever.
I guess it must just be the curse of the internet, making everything sound that little bit more edgy. :)

It's just sad that the "I agree" Agreement you make when you agree to play any game online, cannot be followed.
It's sad to see that, people exploiting, hacking, Just to get to the top of a game they abandon 1 week later.
TOS exists for a reason.
What's worse is the little immature brats who believe that "Everything I want has to be freeee". Even to the point of illegal servers and Libel/Slander when a awesome game goes p2p.
Heaven forbid someone try to get paid for their hard work.

Sega's problem is that they tried to make it offline as well as online. If it was just online then the data could've been stored online, like with most MMORPGs (that I'm aware of...even Diablo II) but since they kindly made it offline too it's screwed them up as the data is stored locally.
I know this much about computers *holds finger and thumb 1mm apart* but I have heard that data stored on the server means the game is harder/impossible to hack.
I'm glad it's offline though, as me and my friend have had many happy hours with my various characters co-opping with his RAcast. ^^

The online fee for online PSO isn't that bad. It's cheaper than most other online games. Also, since Episode III, it's one fee for two games.
On Dreamcast, there were far more players, and a better atmosphere. But the quests were lacking.
Now on GameCube, we get a lot more quests, but there are not as much players, and many cheat.
I still say the fee is worth it because of the quests, and the enjoyment that you do get by playing with your friends from around the world. It's something hard to beat.
Every online game has been hacked to hell. Every online game has tons of immature brats. It's not something unique to PSO, or necessarily Sega's fault. It's the age and culture we live in.
You got your Download Quest, Neo. Just not in the place you pointed to.
Central Dome Fire Swirl.
There would be more Download Quests if enough people were online so that they didn't have to try to keep you playing online.
[Edit by Benoit on [TIME]1113589343[/TIME]]
