Haven t played on those servers since I got a Wii. Lousy Nintendo not allowing game cube games to do online stuff. But, havent got around to do anything for BB.

I would love to try it out, but I just haven't got any time. I recently cancelled my PSU subscription yet again. Probably wont think about starting again until after finals.

I'm to busy with Metroid Prime 2...then after that 3. And So many good games just released...and I have to finish them before Smash Bros Brawl...ahhhh!

Why the hell are they supporting Blue Burst? Sega's servers are still up.

because no one wants to pay for both bb and psu. besides like 500 people play on the psobb private servers.

Question:

Could you explain what this is about PSOBB private servers?

Are they servers kept by a bunch of people? And if so, how does one get online over there and what are the requirements?

Sega of America announced PSOBB US version closure. You can read it on the official message board. Some hint at a possible closure of Xbox servers too. PSO is going to disappear in the western world...

An admin has admitted they cannot solve their technical problems and then they cannot maintain a fee-based service. Moreover, PSOBB customers are too few and prolly Sega wants them to buy PSU.

Wow, that makes PSO Blue Burst the most short-lived version of PSO yet.

nope... that would be pso pc. I believe it only lasted a year before psobb's announcment. BB lasted lil over 3 years.

Oh, right. PSO PC never came out internationally, though.

Ah well, BB was a pretty late iteration.

I think it would have been a better release as GC/Xbox instead of PSO Plus. In fact, i probably would have played it if it was released that way.

I like Schthack's servers as they did a fair bit of rebalancing and INCLUDED THE JAPN ONRRY CONTENT so the rest of us can enjoy.

Oh and also, while excessivly rare, both the red ring AND parisite gene flow DO drop now....though its either on vhard and ult, or just ult(prefferably just ult as that kind of reward possibility is...GOOD).

Its not a cakewalk mind you, but hey, having a reasonable chance to see some of the newer stuff, and actually hunt for it when you're not spending eight hours a day every day to do so is a good thing.

Did I forget to mention bonus quests?

What I'd like is an easier procedure to get access. One that doesn't involve a Codebreaker or Gameshark.

And good Episode III support.
