What games are you playing at the moment?

I'm curious as to what you guys play either at the moment, or games you keep going back to.

For me, it's:

PSP:
Phantasy Star Portable 2
Macross Ultimate Frontier

PS3:
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
Street Fighter 4

PS2:
Melty Blood Actress Again (yes, weird name)
Nightshade (the sequel to the 2002 Shinobi game)

The games I keep revisiting from time to time (in no particular order) are:

Skies of Arcadia
Valkyria Chronicles
Metal Gear Solid series (any of them)
Phantasy Star Online/Universe
Zone of the Enders (series)
Megaman (series)
Phantasy Star (classic series)
Street Fighter Alpha
King of Fighters (from 96 to 2000 only)

I'm playing through The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (GameCube) at the moment. On the train to and from school I get some Bangai-O Spirits (DS) action.

Recently I had picked up my Mega Man 9 (Wii) playthrough with Proto Man again, but I've been unable to beat the last phase of the Dr. Wily fight with him, so that has been stalled.

Hold the phone. So Benoit, you forbid the 'what are you listening to right now' thread to be open, yet you perfectly allow this one?

It's the same shit as the other thread, just a different type. What gives, Benoit? Seriously.

I've done a search to refresh my memory. I've never locked such a thread, even though I didn't like them because they have zero discussion. I didn't object to this one because a "What are you playing right now?" thread has more potential for discussion.

For the Wii I am heavily playing Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate Allstars.

On my DS I am playing Pokemon Pearl daily, but not for very long. I've just been catching and EV training some pokemon that I will trade over when the Gold and Silver remakes come out (I like those versions but the pokemon in them aren't very interesting in my opinion).

Of course I often play Mario Kart Wii and Smash Bros Brawl when everyone piles into my room. Sort of playing PSU as well.

After a quick break, im playing Modern Warfare (PS3) a bit more recently, and a lot of Far Cry 2 (PS3) to make user maps. That is so good :) I played World at War a little bit today on a random second PSN account [AC140-141] and now im prolly going on MW2 again in a sec. It is SUCH a good game "We've been EMPed our electronics are offline!" and i really think some people here should not judge it until they do it all. Great solo. Grand theft auto hasnt got a play recently which is odd for me, and this morning i did one level of COD4 to see the AC130 at the end. Havnt played assassins creed 2 in a week or so, but meh. I want MAG and the GTA expantions (when we get them) but until then its a cyle of - MW2/FC2/GTA probably

That game is awesome. I ordered it yesterday (along with Phantasy Star 0). We should have a couple online matches.

Yeah, it is pretty fun. There is a lot of skill to be found in these 2D fighters. The cast is awesome in my mind; there are so many unique personalities. My competitive teams usually include Ryu, Zero, Roll, and Ippatsuman.

I'm guessing you'll post your PSZ Friend Code in the appropriate thread...you can just PM your TvC Friend Code whenever you want.

I'm playing Glory of Heracles on DS.

But by inertia, I load Civilization III 3 or 4 times a week.

Regarding the Monster World games:

I have Wonder Boy in Monster World for the Genesis!

Man, that is one fine game.
I remember when we got it back in the day. The music was nice and the graphics were so cool I loved the style. Plus, the helpers were pretty fun to be accompanied by. I especially liked the little fairy because she dropped hearts randomly and the little dragon because he liked to burn enemies.

Shame that you couldn't have the helpers outside their areas. Still, that game was my very first Action RPG, not Zelda.

Haha! I remember the snakes in the Maugham Desert. That game had some of the most varied areas in that time.

If you haven't played Landstalker yet, then DO PLAY IT. You'll love it.
