Castlevania's Bloody Tears.
No list of great VGM is complete without it.
Also love the Base music from Contra, as well as some select Mega Man tunes (Top Man's stage and Dr. Wily's stage in MM2 head the pack).
Sonic & Knuckles also has some solid pieces. Sandopolis Zone, Lava Reef Zone (1 and 2) and Doomsday Zone are all SICK. Flying Battery Zone from the same game I can get into too.

It's sad, but i don't know of any remixes i like lately..
I'm wanting to actually figure out a way to make some remixes for a project i am working on, but not sure how to go about it.
I wan to remix Phantasy Star music using super Nintendo samples.. i have seen it done with other games before.. i just don't know how to go about it.
Also, what is up with all the links that say accounts terminated cause of copywrite infringement?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cA06uWV_-cThis has been one of my faves for a while. Mega Man 9 had one of the best video game soundtracks in a long time (go figure) and this is the best medley I've seen of it.
