Obligatory "I hath returned"

You know, up until this board came back, I'd been completely without anything to hold my interest. I am SO happy this place has returned; it sort of lifts my spirits. I've missed all the old PS fans, A PART OF ME HAS BEEN MISSING UP UNTIL ... well, a few days ago because I was too lazy to write this before.

AT ANY RATE, glad to have the PScave back, as well as the rest of you. Hopefully this will give me some much needed inspiration! :)

And darn this 12kb limit on avatars. None of mine fit. I'm going to have to make a special one now :( Ah well. XD

I'm suffering the same problem. I tried using a link with photobucket, and that didn't work, so now I gotta make something real small.

Heya, Ultema. Welcome back. (More cosplay pics, plz!!!)

...God, I'm such a nerd. :P

Anyway, there was summat I wanted to ask you without having to resort using gamefaqs. Okay, here goes: I recently bought CV: Lament of Innocence recently from a friend for £8 and I'm stuck on it. I'm passed the first boss, but I can't seem to unlock that door with the three locks in order to access the second area with the second boss. I was wondering if you could tell me where the three pressure pads are? So far, I found two out of three. Are they situated on the same floor?

Hrrrm. It's been a while since I've played -- I don't really remember off hand. Uh... And it looks like my DVD is currently AWOL :\ I'll look for it more as soon as I'm off and if I find it I'll let you know what you're looking for, but I can't promise a thing. I haven't looked at my games since I've moved to a different state, but now that I'm looking through them it seems a few of them are missing from their cases. They're either floating around in a random box somewhere or lost for good ;O;

Hm...

Which state did you move to?

You know.. If you'd contact people on AIM or MSN, you wouldn't lose touch.

That is just a.. Tip.

Maryland.

And whatchu talkin' bout, Willis? I'm on AIM every day, and my name is a nobrainer XD People I used to see online either aren't online any more or just switched names and don't contact me. It's not like I'm hiding in a hole or anything =P

Sure..

We all know you had your Obfuscate of LV 5 on and none of us have a high enough sense or intelligence to make it useless..

Damn you and your 7 levels of Obfuscate! XD

You've never been on AIM to my knowledge. OLD friend.

P.S. Remember when you told that girl Victoria off for taking your name on AOL? XD That was great.. She had to change it cause of ye.

LMFAO. Dude, the best part was that wasn't even me. My friend saw it while I was sitting around on another SN and totally flipped out. I didn't get the chance to IM her before she logged off and was never seen again. I tell you though, when she told me I was like "... lol what?"

Nah, that's okay; I've recently discovered that there are multiple warp places other than just the one I've been to -- House of Sacred Remains.

Seeing as you're an artist, I take it that you worship Ayami Kojima's work, yes? Couldn't get enough of her Succubus design from Symphony of the Night.

I love Kojima's work. Specifically her technique! The quality of the textures and buildup in her paint is just awesome (/artnerd)... and okay, some of her guys are pretty hot too, even if they are sort of feminine in the face ( oh god can you believe it, I prefer masculine, but not necessarily incredibly macho, males! ;P ).

I was so disappointed to find out that the uninspired, mediocre designed anime-ish artwork was essentially selling more Castlevania games than her gorgeous work :(

I'm telling you; the masses love all the wrong things.

Well your friend scarred her for life

LOL poor girl.. Bad friend of yours!

Poor Victoria.. You can IM her brother if you want to make a 7 year apology XD

Yeah, that would hit me hard, especially if I'm the type of person who's dedicated to my work, which in this case being Ayami Kojima. Though, saying that, perhaps she can do without so many annoying followers -- who are obsessed with what you eat, what your star sign is, and so forth. If that means being semi-popular, then so be it: stupid fans would irritate the fuck out of me.

I see what you mean about the mediocre design from Castlevania's GBA & DS editions:

Image

Kojima does indeed give the right feel to the series with her design, so erase this bullshit, Konami.

Is she related to Hideo Kojima, by any chance?

XD Well, if I recall correctly she was using my artwork and essentially what was my character (after my friend told me I -had- to look at the profile). I wouldn't have cared about the name, but I found it odd someone'd be playing my own FanChar XDDDD

I think my friend mentioned something about her saying that she couldn't contact me about using my artwork (LOL OH GOD THAT ARTWORK *hangs head in shame* ), but it was mostly the idea of someone playing my OC which struck me as totally "What the hayul?!" -- I mean, if I got the weird idea to do that but couldn't contact the original owner -- I just wouldn't do it, know what I mean? XD

She was just..

Using the image do describe a picture of her character. People do it all the time.

Borrow a image to give someone a glimpse until they can draw their own.

I've had people use my artwork for their chars and it was fine.

Poor Victoria though..
