Hi, I'm a Cosplayer

Hi fellow PS fans,

I am known in cosplay as SlimDefinition. I was trying to find alternative words in the Dictionary.com thesaurus for characters I was describing in my writing with the same body type in the same chapter. I happened to see on the minimised window "Slim | Definition" and thought it was a good username. So I took it up.

I live in Norfolk in the UK, not far from Norwich. I started cosplaying in 2009, my first costume being BloodRayne. I have since done: Rose (Legend of Dragoon), Hrist (Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria), Belleza (Skies of Arcadia), Faris (Final Fantasy V - sprite interpretation).......Alys, and now Zio. (Alys was debuted at a cosplay picnic I arranged with my friend Raye - we co-run www.animedia-east.co.uk together as a voluntary community for anime/game/cosplay fans), and Zio will have his debut at London MCM Expo next week. For information on London MCM Expo, go to www.londonexpo.com - I will however be wearing them both at that event. As I have already debuted Alys though, she'll be worn one day on the Sunday, but I'll be doing Zio on the Friday afternoon and all day Saturday. I will add the PSIV videos in the next few months when I have enough photos of my costumes and my friend's costumes as well. Several Alys photos are already floating around from the cosplay picnic last month, and I only have a few costume runs of Zio before I wear him (chest-binding is rather uncomfortable) next weekend. I did the best I could with his frame as realistically speaking, it's not feasible to make it exactly as it's drawn.

So, another fan of Legend of Dragoon? Awesome. LoD and PSIV are my two most favourite RPGs. I have lots of favourites, but those two are on top.

I wonder if anyone else around here is going to London Expo next week? It's really quite cheap to get into. It's at the ExCel Centre. It'd be good to see other PS, especially PSIV fans there. I hope at least a few people will recognise us.

You're impressed by my literacy too you say? I'm pedantic. In-fact, incredibly pedantic. I write text essays instead of text speak. ^_^' If I misspell something, it's a mere typo.

So, wait...what's going on? Semix...you're going but not in cosplay...but Zucca said...I'm confused!
Nevertheless, I will be Zio on the Friday and Saturday, and Alys on the Sunday. I will have Demi and Rune with me. I know the one doing Demi is wearing her Saturday and Sunday, not sure about the Friday. So keep a look out for us.

And sorry, got to have long hair. I have my reasons...eg: I don't find short hair or baldness attractive in the slightest. That's just me.

Glad you joined! I saw your Alys cosplay in my dA watch not too long ago when it was featured in the Phantasy Star Arts group. I love it! (Just faved a couple of your pics.) Hope the Zio cosplay went well! (Do post some pics on dA if get a chance.)
