You can call me SandyLandale, or just Sandy for short. I really love the Phantasy Star series! That's about all there is to say about me. I hope we become friends. :)

Glad to have you with us SandyLandale! How long have you been a fan of the PS series?

Fairly recently, actually. I've had my on-again off-again feuds with the first Phantasy Star, and after I pinpointed what was making me rage I finally headed it off at the pass and beat it in May of this year. After that I moved on to Phantasy Star II and fell in love with it, and played and finished the character text adventures. Then I tried Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom, and, uh... let's just say I could take it or leave it. After that was, of course, Phantasy Star: The end of the millennium which I liked, but not as much as II.

I still have yet to play Phantasy Star Gaiden and Phantasy Star Adventure. After those are done, my foray into the classic series will be complete!

Sounds like my sentiments, basically, though I like PSIII too, only, you know, considerably less than the others.

I for one can't really bring myself to regard Gaiden as canonical (too many ad hoc things---it doesn't fit), but the PS Adventure is pretty good.

Welcome!

Welcome to the board, SandyLandale! Don't forget to stock the fridge with some perolymate.

Also, I think you should try to play through Phantasy Star III at least once. ;)

I already heard a certain returning character looks completely different... not too happy about that.

Thanks for the welcome, skymandr! :)

I did! I finished it. I liked Mieu. But the rest of the game, eheh... well... Um, I don't want to be unkind because I know there are fans of it.

Thanks for the welcome, BenoitRen! :)

Don't worry about stepping on our toes, we're pretty open for debate! (As long as it is at least moderately civil.Ah, I remember the old Lutz wars of the 90s...)

The Lutz wars? I believe you mean the Noah wars.

I would contradict you, were I not afraid of your moderator privileges... ;)
