Not much to say about me. I'm a longtime fan of the original Phantasy Star games. In fact Algol is my favorite SciFan setting. While I enjoy PSO quite a bit it's not as dear to me. Some of you may know me from Shining Force Central, Daria's RPG Classics board, my own forums (now archived), or other random places online.

I'm surprised that I never registered for these forums... In fact, I did a search to see if I had under a different name and stumbled across a mention.

Welcome.
Most of the times it's quite quiet here, but sometimes people get more involved and discuss much more than normally.

I'm also huge fan of Shining Series.

Thanks for the welcome. Indeed, social media really seems to have taken over for bulletin boards across the internet but they still have charm in their permanence. Social media gets buried so fast but forums archive nicely.

Indeed.
It's also very obvious when using search engines to find some information that's hard to find. Never have I stubled into a result that had social media post containing the information I want. Sometimes, just sometimes, Twitter has something that leads to the goal.

But there is one social media over all other that archives the content very well: Reddit.

I think social media has encouraged narcissism amongst people, but that is another topic altogether.
