Jackass? That's more like the forum troll, and gm2987 is the closest to that title. Spammers aren't really mean, but rather post incessant irrelevancy intentionally. What Mage posts isn't deliberate, IE, he's very unwitting about his parlance.

The Spammers I saw were a lot...more serious about spamming. It was like:<p>...dots...dots..<p>over and over and over all over until the<br>page stretched out so much you could not read<br>anything people said unless you moved the scroll bar for <br>5 minutes, and even then you could miss them.

Some people don't mean to SPAM, though. I did on accident when I contributed to a "party" thread, and I didn't even know I was spamming. So... some people are innocent and they do not know...
