Will anyone be on tonight? I've finally created a character today and levelled up a bit. Still at level 9.

By the way, is the lag between giving/receiving blows and them taking effect normal? :/

EDIT: Well, it's too late for today now. How about tomorrow? Remember, my time zone is GMT+1. I'm free during the whole day.

Well, I might be one during 9pm-1am (approximately) central time (-6 gmt). The lag depends on your system. Are ya on PC/PS2 or 360? I hear that there is lag on the PS2, and on some PC users have lag. But I do notice that the numbers do appear a little bit after a hit. I do have a character about level 7, but hardly use her. But I might be on more starting up this friday. Summer classes ends.

I used to get that lag and found that it had to do with PC performance. I altered my game settings until I figured something out.

I have heard of PS2 users slowing down large parties, but I have never encountered it.

Thriwren, we could meet up tonight. Give me more info on a meeting time. I am GMT -6

So that's early morning my time. I'm still asleep then. :/

I'm on PC.

I see.

PSU seems badly programmed, because at 640x480 using Normal setting I still sometimes got lag in Story Mode. After a couple chapters I shifted the Motion Calculation setting from video card to CPU, and that seemed to help a bit.

Along with the patches before I could get online came a better custom configuration panel. I noted that the effects, which are usually what causes lag, was set to High. I've now put it to Mid, but I still get slowdown.

My PC exceeds the recommended system requirements:
CPU: AMD Sempron 2800+
RAM: 1 GB DDR
Video card: ATI Radeon 9250

Yup, back in the early days of PSU, many people with even the best performance experienced slow-down. PSU is funny that way for some reason. It will be trial and error before you figure something out. I would say to make sure you have frame-skip to at least 1. I have a 256MB card that can't go more than that. I had a friend who could do 0 with a 512MB card.

Yeah, programmed wrong, or some programming issue that isn't being addressed because of laziness. Who knows.

Decided to play for MAG, Benoit?

Thriwren, I can log on after 10 at some time. If you want to meet me I will be in Lightning Beasts S2 searching for Ebrozike boards.

I did not see this till now, but I will try to be on around 10pm central time. I have a 630mb card and can run it in high with 0 just fine.

The amount of memory your video card has doesn't mean anything. It has other important statistics like clock rate, type of memory, etc. Just state the card's model.

Nothing I do seems to stop the slow responses. It sucks.

So is anyone actually going to play with me? Playing alone is getting boring. I'm LV 11 now.

True, my card is an Nvidia Gts (might be an x) 8800. I might be on on friday from starting from 12 -1 in the afternoon till whenever. If ya see someone named Thriwren (cast, cant miss him), Fana (human), or maybe Scratch. Those are the three I am more likely to be playing on. I also have a character named Lupe, don't use her much since I don't like using aa force. (I am holding back on using star wars here.)

Despite not using Lupe, I recognize having seen that one around.

True, but a 512 or 630 card is most likely going to have upper end clock rate and type of memory. I don't quite know what my card is of hand. I think it is an ATI Radeon X1300? Doesn't sound too right...

Sorry Thriwren, I lied. I did one run and then realized that we had Super Holy yesterday. I was running around buying grinders and grinding stuff. You can expect me to be on pretty much anytime between 9PM and midnight at GMT -6 anytime of the week (It varies). Weekends I usually play when I wake up to about noon and then in the evening to 2 AM.

I will try to be on about that time on week days that I work late (8.30pm), which is Monday and sometimes wed, if I fill in for some one. And Will try to be on earlier on other days. Summer classes just finished up, So it is a good thing that MAG is coming tomorrow.

Yeah, I should be in back spamming for an S team in universe 2. I am the only Thriwren, but not the only Wren. (I have joined a team when there was three Wrens around, I was the only one to answer. Few kind of get where my name is based off from.)

Interesting coincidence. I believe I am the only one of my name as well. I'll search for you in the back tonight.
