I actually had the chance to play FFT: WotL...

If for no other game, I will have a PSP.

it's really not at all different..and the 'special' classes take a while to get....it's cool and all, but i'd still rather play the original...

That's great and all. I have the original. I've played/finished it many times thru. It will always be one of my favorite games. But the WotL provides several new features that, I believe, make it worth getting addicted to all over again.

This PS0 seems like a intresting game. (I just read the Eternal Tower thread... Wow! Places with huge amounts of floors == win)
Is there any news about ports to other platforms?
I guess It won't be ported to PC... :(
But maybe for Nintendo Wii?
I am NaN!

I doubt there will be a port. PSZ doesn't seem high profile enough.

yeah not a single gaming site or publication has yet to review it. plus it came out the same week as mw2 so it was a dumb decision on sega's part.

And it came out a year later than the Japanese version.
And it has barely had any advertising.

I don't know about PSU, but PSO definitely had advertising. Here are some ads.

I hear there are still no reviews of Phantasy Star 0. That was different with PSO and PSU.

Let me clarify some things for you, since I have a PSP:

PSX games are emulable on the PSP by default. It comes with its own PS1 emulator.

FFT IS being sold on the Playstation Store for relatively dirt cheap.

You can rip your own PS1 games and pack them to run on the PSP. It's a big hassle, though. Since I'm lazy, I prefer to download them from a torrent (when I own them). This is only possible, though, if you run a custom firmware like I do.

That's it. And before anyone comes raging down my ass with "YOU PIRATE SCUM!!", running a custom firmware doesn't mean I pirate like crazy like ALL of my peers (the ones I know at least).

Homebrew software is in many cases innovative and useful, something I couldn't use if I did as Sony wanted.

For the record: I'd love PS0 on PSP. It'd save me moolah, plus I bet my ass it'd look better.
