on a straight playthrough, how long do you estimate it might actually take? my guess if I didn't get so bored every 10-15 floors and put the ds to sleep, it might take around 3 hours.

Fighting through this damn mission even at level 40+ was a chore for my newman hunter girl on normal difficulty. The regular enemies were jokes (except for the arkzeins and their two-hit-kill missles), but the Mothers could all one or two hit kill me. It was lopsided and a gigantic pain.

Still, finished the thing. And tempted to start the Hard one soon, despite being unable to even clear most hard missions yet. Good god.

Heaven's Mother on hard was difficult. You'll be in for a long climb if you do it before level 60.

I'm currently climbing the tower. I started late yesterday afternoon while using public transport on my way to a meeting. By the time I got back home, I was in the forties. After I beat floor 60 and restocked in the city, I put the DS to sleep and went to bed.

I'm at school at the moment, and have made it to floor 85 before getting off the train. The power light has recently gotten red, so I won't be able to play too long on the way back.

The quest is easy, but it takes a long time indeed. Sometimes a floor goes fast, sometimes not. Each floor takes 5 to 10 minutes. I estimate that I've been climbing for over 5 hours now.

The tower is full of ZOMG RAREZ! Even if most are materials.

I made it to the top! Heaven's Mother wasn't harder than some Blade Mother.

Man, I was steamrolling through the last ten floors. It was great.

I was disappointed that when you got back to the city, no one approached you to congratulate you. I expected that someone would, seeing as how you were encouraged at the start of the quest. Oh well.
