How did you stick the images? I couldn't find the option to look in the HD...

Another step up, I think:

(Having used a living model may have helped a bit. At least, for the "inspiration"!)

Wing, what do you mean with "stick the image"?

Ah... so this is how you did it... *slaps face*

You mean a beautiful brasileira with a wide pelvis? =)

Wing, what do you mean with "stick the image"?

I was talking about the way you displayed the image. You copied and pasted that photobucket URL, right?

I'm not familiar with Photobucket so I wouldn't upload anything there.

I'd like to make a proposition, and ask Missagh to make a note of it.
What about having a PS Cave fanart gallery that can be edited by the users? I, for one like to draw. You, Mono, have shown at the very least two pics (that I have memory of), so an "imageboard" for illustrations made by us would be pretty nice, I think. Maybe with this some more people's creative germ could start growing. Advice (constructive, dammit) would be a plus.

Bleh...

Part deux because the PS3 won't let me make long posts, and you all realize by now I'm long winded... =P

As I was saying, a board intended for people to display their artwork in a way that can get them constructive criticism could be good for two reasons: More creativity means less time doing crazy stuff like parkour (You know I'm serious even if I go with crazy comments, haha). Artists could get creative criticism and the less skilled could obtain pointers on what to do to improve.

Back in Cyborg Central, V-Alis used to "pester me" (she used the expression) for pointers on where to improve, and I actually liked heping her since I could see even my own errors, which were many (still are).

What do you people think?

Would it be too much of a mess to establish an imageboard, Missagh?

WISE FWOM YOUW GWAVE

I like the idea of having a forum only for graphical fanart for a more direct discussion, but I think it would be more a split of the fan stuff forum than aggregate new things and bring more active members to the forums. In the end, I think it would slow down the Fan Stuff forum and come to be a not very active one itself.

Meanwhile, I made something different:

Image

I based this on a friend's picture. Originally I was just trying to copy her pose to make Nei (she was wearing a bikini, what better than replacing her with another girl in a swimsuit?), clean the trace, and color on Photoshop. But at some point I found it boring. I did paint her with mid tones, made some shadow and light, she was ready. But it was not enough, it was just an everyday attempt, nothing better or worse than what I had already done before. So I drew the scenario of that picture in 2B grafitti, pasted Nei in the front layer, and applied some filters to turn the dull coloured Nei into something that would match the background.

May not be the greatest thing ever done (if you look closely, you'll see that her shadow on the rock was made with the Photoshop pencil, because I totally forgot to do that in the paper... hell, NOTHING was supposed to be there besides a floating purple Nei in the first place), but this is the first time I use one of my own works as my desktop wallpaper.

Wallpaper size, hell yeah:http://www.b3tards.com/u/7116c087b49513ac33e4/nei_na_pedra_-_cinza.jpg

Agreed. This is rather nice! I haven't said much in this thread, but previous drawings had some slight proportional quirks that bugged me. This one, on the other hand, feels like a tremendous step up to me.

Kudos, kudos!
