There's a small problem with some of the theories of the first page...

For starters, I haven't played PSO or PSU, so perhaps I'm wrong, but can Dark Force exist without the Profound Darkness?? Anyhow, if you remember, in PS4, they find the Alisa III, and Neo Palm, and mention they are still flying loose... If Dark Force has already destroyed the other 398 ships, chances are he wasn't very dormant prior to Phantasy Star IV... Maybe I'm remembering this wrong, though...

PSIII seems to show that it can.

Anyhow, if you remember, in PS4, they find the Alisa III, and Neo Palm, and mention they are still flying loose...

They find one of the ships that escaped Parma, which crashed on Motavia. They didn't find the Alisa III or the Neo Palm.

In either way (japanese or english), PSIII Dark Force is the last Dark Force alive in PS classic universe and it's alive after Chaz & co. have destroyed Profound Darkness.
Unless, somehow time passes way faster in PSIII (Actually time passes a bit faster when there's less gravity around. So actually time passes faster in PSIII spaceship than on PSIV planets, but that's really not going to be enough big time shift.).

Okay, so from the accurate timeline... It says "AW 1284" is when Phantasy Star II took place... PS II is when Palma was destroyed... SO

I'm assuming Palma was destroyed in AW 1284... PS3 did not take place until 1000 years AFTER the death of Orakio, and Laya...

"The names of Orakio and Laya echo
down through the years, still inspiring love and hatred
even now, 1,000 years after their tragic deaths. Their
conflict wiped out civilization and left the survivors in
a world of mutated creatures and warring pockets of men."

This war must had lasted a while, if at their death the world (Domes/ship) was permanently stained from their war.

"After many adventures, Rhys at last found Maia. Rhys
became king of the peaceful land of Cille. Maia gave
birth to a son and they named him Ayn. This is the
story of Prince Ayn of Cille. After 15 years of peace,
war once again came...."

So, Ayn takes place 15 years after Rhys... Rhys' age would have to be ASSUMED... I dunno...

"Rhys and Lena wed, thus uniting their homelands. Soon, a
son, Nial, was born to Rhys and Lena. Peace settled over
the land as Nial grew up. When Nial was 18, evil once
again stirred...."

Nial was 18... Moving on...

What age is manhood in Japan? In America that would 18... But I believe it's 15 in Japan... EITHER WAY, Phantasy Star III lasted about 34 - 36 years to finish, PLUS the assumed age of Rhys from the time of Dark Forces demise....

Now, if Dark Force boarded Alisa III, he couldn't had been very dormant... He had to of been active enough to slip into the ship, and observe the fact Orakio and Laya could kick his ass, and needed to instigate a war between the two. I truly believe Orakio and Laya were Palman people...

Getting the exact date of when PS3 actually started... Thas my entire objective is knowing the dates of Orakio, and Phantasy Star III's start date, and Phantasy Star III's end date... It has a LOT to do with it if trying to get the dates exact, which probably isn't possible, but will attempt to get it as close as humanly possible.

Wait, are you assuming that it was 1000 years since the Orakio-Laya war when Rhys was born? I think it makes sense to think that it was 1000 years when PSIII starts. So knowing Rhys' age doesn't matter.
