Thanks, Edge. When can I expect it's release?

Here are some more sprites I've been working on. Note that the images below aren't in their finished format.

Alys, Chaz and Hahn's sprites are completed, and I'm in the process of finishing Rune's sprite.
Oh, and here's a vid for good measure. It's the Juza mini-boss battle.

I have no idea... I originally expected this to take about 2 - 6 hours... I've honestly spent probably a total of 20 fooling with this mess... I'ma figure it out, and I will get it though... IT WILL be ready by the time the final release hits, but I'm hoping to god I get it before then. Hopefully soon, but I honestly dunno wth I am doing wrong here... Do you know scripting at all? I can show you what I've got, and where the problems are.

Well Edge, the final release may only be scheduled for .... 2011. And I was hoping I could have the script before the release of my new demo, which is probably due in late April - early May...

I guess I'll just have to be patient and wait.

Prepare... to... be... mesmerized. My latest development is bound to tame even the harshest critic. I hope. I understand that this system was originally intended for use with the original PS4 as well, but the graphical pattern became too monotonous.

I have successfully managed to emulate the First-Person dungeon effect ala Phantasy Star 1.

Image
The screen just needs a little bit of prettying up (like making it darker and such).

Image
In battle testing. I'm finally able to create psuedo-3d dungeon battlebacks. :D

I think this is probably even better than my reworked sprites. :D
Hope you guys like it as much as I do.

And Airwolf, welcome back. I'll try out your new engine right away.

My first dungeon using this script (by a guy known only as MGC) will be the Piata basement.

Here's the link for the script. It's NOT my work. :P

Thank you! I was actually scripting it by command base number arrows, and changing the screen based off what button is pressed in which sequence... Long story short, you just saved me days and days of work.

Awesome thing, great script, but i never liked that style of dungeons in PS series, I like classic 2d style :)

Well I for one love this stuff! I actually wanted to have the original PS1 dungeon style in some of my dungeons but you kinda beat me to it <_<

Still the whole thing would have been a huge headache to do in RM2K. This is great news though Lyla! and it looks great, but why are the enemies and battle sprites all blurred up?

@Daren: The battle sprites appear blurred because they are set against a very hi-res battleback. I don't intend to use it in my game, it clashes to much.

Anyway, here's what I've been busy with for the last couple of days.

Image
All the characters above have complete spritesheets. Still have a ton more to do... >< And I'm adding some new sprites as well, since I was shocked to see how limited PS4's sprite selection was.
I'll upload a video in due time showcasing some new stuff.
