Or Sailor Moon.. Or.. Fist of the North Star Xd

Bleach is okay.. I rather dislike the slow pacing and pointless flashbacks..

If they didn't have to make fillers, it would be better.

It is better than Naruto!

Slight spoiler: I lost track of what espisode I'm at. It's somewhere in the second season I think, where they're in the soul world searching for Rukia.

Spoiler end

Bleach is a pretty upbeat anime with lots of good battles. The things I mostly dislike about it are the endless flash backs in the middle of a battle (how do they have the time to remember so much when fighting someone?) and the filler espisodes. The rest of the stuff that bothers me is minor.

They took out a lot of animes from YTV so Bleach is one of the only animes I watch on tv now (along with Gundam Seed Destiny and Naruto but they're all only on friday). I would agree that Bleach is better than Naruto as it has slightly less flash backs and it's also a little more upbeat. The characters in Bleach also seem a bit more mature and serious than those in Naruro which is good.

Overall, Bleach nicely combines the elements of action, comedy and drama. I would recommend this anime to an audience of about 16 and older. It may seem a bit too grapic for younger people and they might also not understand everything that is happening but I may be wrong in the recommended ages of the audience. Some yonger children might like it, I probably would have if it was made when I was younger but I was pretty philosophical even when I was small.

It's funny how in animes they say: Don't be distracted in battle, yet, in the same moment, that person has a 3-episode long flashback lol. It'd be like Rolf about to cast Megid, then he has a flashback regarding how he forgot to water his plants before he left home.
I wonder what people will see in the final days?

The flash backs in Bleach were annoying at times but you have to consider that the speed of thought is faster than the speed of action. For us, the flash back scenes are a few minutes but for the characters, it is only a couple of seconds (if not even less than that). That's why after the flash back scene ends, the character who may have jumped up for example is still in the air. Imagine if the flash back was two seconds long, we would not understand anything. It's slowed down for us to see and understand. It's in a lot in animes and movies. However, I do agree that the flash backs were indeed pointless at times. It only made sense when a character tried to remember a technique thought to him or her during a fight.

Have to do it... rolf's thoughts while talking to Shir.

Shir: "Hey, I'm shir!"
Rolf thinking: I should water those plants.
Shir: "I like stealing jsut for the thrill!
Rolf thinking: They're starting to get dry...
Shir: "So I'll join your party!"
Rolf thinking: I could really go for a donut...
Shir: "Rolf... your eyes are glazing over."
Rolf thikning: Mmmmm.... glazed.
Shir: "And you're drooling."
rolf thinking: Curry.

lol

I've seen two episodes and it's just as dull as DBZ.

Oh, I forgot... they have to be constipated (sp?) to activate their true powers...

Those 'roids must be driving them crazy, and I don't mean STEroids.

I can't believe I said this about Bleach.

Anyway I'm currently following the manga and it's fucking epic so far in chapter 420. Aizen's turned into this monster butterfly thing while Ichigo pwns him in form resembling Alucard from Hellsing.

Will Aizen be toast or is this another part of his plan?

I've always thought the manga was better than the anime. I don't know, most people I know that are into Bleach say there's not much of a difference, but... eh. Manga's better, I say.

As to your question, I can't answer that because I have a ton of catching up to do with this series. I've put off reading it in favor of catching up with Fullmetal Alchemist. I will never be caught up completely with either series, it seems.

Edited: Oh, thank goodness. I'm no longer Seth. Hello, blueberry Demi.
