Playing PSO: Episode III. I'm stuck on a tile and the computer opponent just keeps putting creatures in front of me! AARGH!
Is that in the forest? Happened to me a couple times.
I'm playing Borderlands, Goldeneye, and PSO: Episode III in sort of a cycle fashion.
Borderlands is fantastic. I'm pretty much near the end of it story-wise. It has been a unique experience for an RPG/FPS.
Goldeneye has one of the most interesting campaigns of any game I've played. I feel that it is better than the original (but it does have a technological advantage). The only thing that bothers me is that the online mode doesn't quite live up to other shooters. No chat and no character customization. Sort of a step back from The Conduit over a year ago...but Goldeneye still plays a bit better and has more interesting maps. I look forward to Conduit2 in 2011 to really take the next step for Wii shooter online.
At this point, I am still dead set on PSO: Episode 1&2 being superior to Episode 3. In fact, I'm not even sure I'm enjoying the game anymore. The battles are slow, repetitive, and I've spent barely any time customizing my decks (hinting that there is no point unless going up against other competitive humans). There is no diversity in quests, they all consist of some text explaining what presumably happened before and after the fight. Battles always take place in the same few areas. A majority of the story characters seem boring and have little development (especially on the opposing faction). Bleh, I was hoping I would have liked this game a bit more.
