That game is on my "DO WANT" list after Megaman Universe, which is basically the same thing, only with Megaman instead of Sackboy.

Currently playing:

Power DoLLS (yes, it's an acronym) on PC
Princess Maker 2 on PC (oy vey!)
Minecraft on PC as well, where I have begun my construction of submarine installations. No, really. Submarine installations where I am setting up a farm.

And COUGH... Final Fantasy 12 on PS2
and Megaman 10 on PS3

Soon to be playing:

Valkyria of the Battlefield 3 (Valkyria Chronicles 3) on PSP
Macross Triangle Frontier on PSP
Mass Effect 2 on PS3

All of my payment for this december went to those three games... O_o

I had a change to see the actual game play of Little Big Planet 2 at my fried's party last Friday. Didn't really impress me much.
So tell me guys... What's so special about it?
I am NaN!

I finished Earthbound Zero for the first time ever today. Now I'm gonna start playing Earthbound on my ZSNES emulator.

Resistance 2 (came in one of those game + controller packs). Don't have much to say right now. I've only played a couple hours so far.

@Zucca:

Well, Little Big Planet is a game that allows you to make your own stages for you to play with while also including some physics simulation for the game. Once you give it some time, an apparently silly game turns into a sack of laughs.

It's hilarious. Within 5 minutes we made a sackbot in a turban ride a penis spaceship that actually does you know what when you hold X. Yeah, not every game allows that...

It seems that every time the creation of user content is possible, one of the first things to appear is flying penises. :/

I finished Resistance 2. It was a good game. Some things about it are a little odd (why does a shotgun send a fridge flying across the room?) but all in all the experience was solid. The weapons were interesting, mostly because of their secondary functions. Each one was useful and I often found myself trying to decide which two guns I wanted on me and which to leave behind. I think it is important to have to make these decisions (something other games have tried but have failed due poor weapon balance).

I can't really comment on the story because I haven't played the first game, however I like where it is going and will probably buy the next game.

I'm still new to the PS3, but I must say that the controller scheme was much more comfortable in Borderlands. Running was quite a chore in this game.

I purchased Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. So far I've beaten Sonic 2 and have started save files on Sonic 3, Phantasy Star, Ristar, Ecco the Dolphin, and Dr. Robotnik's MBM.

I just can't seem to get into Killzone 2, I got it as a stocking filler present for christmas, and the graphics (for the time as well) are excellent, but it feels heavy (and being used to Call of duty which is the least heavy FPS I know) and even with a different control scheme it feels weird, I just don't have any motivation to get from point A to B either. If it had no trophy support I wouldn't bother. Heavy rain is still fun, and I have been on Black ops a bit, getting a little bored of littlebigplanet 2 which we overplayed in the first week, we rushed it :/

Funnily enough, after watching a let's play on youtube, I began playing Sonic '06 again, new save data on my new user, and if it wasn't for the loading times and extreme slowdown and frame rate issues on the PS3 version, there is a genuinley fun but broken game under it, I would have enjoyed it if it was tweaked a little and just made to perform better, maybe with some improvements to collision detection and repetitive level design (and bad controls and camera) would have actually made it a good game, I just can't get myself to continue the game again as the tedious slower levels that are filled of cheap deaths are making me bored.

It's a shame, I want to enjoy this game so much more. It is at heart under all the bad stuff, a sonic adventure game.

In other news, anyone seen the new Sony NGP (Next Gen Portable), a HD handheld with 2 analogue sticks finally, with a touch-screen and touch-pad, looks pricey but nice. This or the 3DS though, what do you think will be better?

Are sony advancing technology pushing boundaries and limitations for game develepors, while nintendo run off gimmicky products, with no real advances? Or is the DS series just more fun to have? Personally, my iPod is my portable gaming device right now, so I hope one of these new consoles are good. The 3DS's main problem to me is the 4 hour battery life, anyway - What are you guys thoughts.... On all of the above :L

I'm trying to play Fable. I'm averaging about 8-10 FPS (actually pretty good by my standards), but a blue screen every hour gets old very fast. Also decided to dust off Fallout 2, but I'm thinking about pulling out the technical manuals to finally land a DGIV on Mars in Orbiter. Without killing everyone on board.

I've never kept up with portable gaming, but my handheld has almost always been a full-size laptop (I bought my first one for twenty bucks back in high school, and played Doom 2 when my teachers weren't looking). I'm thinking about getting a battery extender with part of my last paycheck so I can get 20 hours out of a single charge, since it would come in handy if I get called back to draw an abandoned hotel in the future.

I'm not playing anything... I try to play anything other than what I have been playing lately and none... No interest whatsoever... The only things I am playing are Valkyria 2, Macross Ultimate Frontier and that's it...

It's always like this when I'm expecting new games...

And just today I learned that a game I have wanted to play for AGES is available on the Japanese PSN...

I... WANT... IT!!!

And with that I will continue this thread in spirit:

I've been plugging along in Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. My roommate and I tackled the Golden Axe trilogy. We didn't beat any of them...made it pretty far though. We only tried each one once so I'm sure we'll give it another go soon.

I'm really liking Ristar. It is quite a solid platformer. I remember when the game came out and I wasn't very interested in Sega anymore (became a bit of an N64 fanatic). To bad, I should have asked for this one as a christmas present as a child.

I'm still trudging along in Sonic 3. Act 5, ugh. This game sure gets hard. i'm trying to convince me girlfriend to beat Dr. Robotnic's Mean Bean Machine for me. She is very good at the game and a few years ago I remember she beat Kirby's Avalanche. I believe they are the same game so hopefully she will snag me a free trophy :P
