Sweden has lost its collective mind.

http://www.latimes.com/news/local/crime ... full.story

Reading this article and its follow-up is absolutely heinous. Psycho fakes a full-blown assault on herself, all the works with physical and sexual abuse, accuses her ex of it, and gets him tossed in jail three months while the slow, rusty wheels of the biased justice system make her story untenable. The woman should be locked away and beaten daily.

Well, two of my kittens were adopted today. I hope they are treated just as well as they were treated here. Those two are some of the cutest cats I have ever petted and played with.

The feeling of sadness sucks. After all, I was there when they were being born, when they opened their eyes and when they first began to walk, run and jump around. Good bye, black kitty... Good bye, gray kitty. May you two find many shoes to bite...

...at least I feel better than I would if I had dumped out in the wild... or if I had allowed them to be killed at the local dog pound...

Highlights of my day:
Hedwig's corpse was nowhere to be found this morning, so I'll never know for sure if I really killed him...

Worked at the factory despite a heat index of 105. The management has promised free ice cream to everybody every day until it cools down, so I'm not gonna skip work anytime soon...

The factory computer says I'm lazy to the point that I defy reality... see here: http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv77 ... oto005.jpg (The boss says it should never go below 0% productivity)

I forgot my personal laptop at work, so I'm using a stolen laptop to type this right now.

On the way home from work, I dropped a tire while doing 60MPH in a 40MPH turn, and wound up drifting through it, recovering into my own lane just in time as a truck came barreling by the other way.

Too much excitement in one day!

After the unexpected slide, I wasn't sure whether I should've been more scared or excited.

I later decided on excited, and pulled 70 MPH through the same turn today. :)

I wish I could I could meet the following people right now: Penn and Teller, Michael Shermer, Bill Nye and James Randi.

I'm so excited about today. Gonna see more houses! Yesterday we saw two of them, and the first one we were shown I absolutely adored for its accessible layout and evident charm. Didn't hurt that it was spacious and cheap, too. :D
