Zema, mysterious town of the ancients
When you enter Zema for the first time, you will see stone figures all over the town. Zio, the evil magician, fullfilled his promise to turn everybody to stone if the Piata academy continues their research work in Birth Valley. Enter Birth Valley through the northern entrance to find out that Professor Holt, leader of the research team, has been turned to stone like all the others. The shops and the inn will open when your party gets their hands on the Alshline (Alsulin) medicine to cure the citizens and the academy members. Refer to the tables below for prices in Zema.
Later on you can grab a job at the Hunter's Guild to return here for a third time. This little side adventure will lead you to a hidden control center named Valhal. Not even Demi and Wren know of its existence.
