The Future of Phantasy Star Cave

It is about time for all of us to discuss the future of Phantasy Star Cave. If you have not already, please read and explore about the history here:

http://pscave.com/11thanniversary.shtml

What do you want to see updated on PS Cave? What new sections would you like to see? Should we target the new Phantasy Star games? Or continue focusing on the classic ones?

Please keep all replies on topic. :)

I believe that It doesn't come as a surprise to many of you that I'm more of a classic series fan.
I'd put classic series and the rest of the games in their own sections...
I am NaN!

I think that giving each PS game its place is a nice idea. Each of them are different in one way or another. I like the idea of sections for each of them.

And no offense, but the yellow theme is kind of hard on my eyes... Which aren't good to begin with... Now that I think about it, I dunno where I put my glasses... Anyway, Perhaps a new theme could be nice?

Regarding the board, it'd be nice to add more of those icons on the left with more characters of the classic and online Phantasy Stars, taking into account that some people post a lot. Sort of raising the level cap, only not making "leveling up" too easy.

Some community events could also be nice, but I have no idea at the moment of what could be a good event.

I'm not so sure about the "history of all the PS community", though.

Some things are good to remember, some others are best left buried.

My only suggestions are for the fora.

Have an adults only forum. Most of us here are nearly 30, and most young gamers nowadays think FF is the be and end all of jap rpgs. Or make the rules a little lax because your neighbour Thoul Flandlers lives in lala land where everyone has to be unbearably nice in PS Algo. Otherwise you won't see much of me still because it's a bit boring here.

I actually like the idea of a "Mature Forum" PeaGuy is suggesting.

Also, some kind of events would be good. I can't pinpoint the idea well, but I'd like something that would bring the community together in some way. Sadly, I'm kind of lacking in ideas at the moment.

So far, we've got:
  • Giving each game its own section.
  • A change of colour/theme.
  • More board user ranks.
  • Community events.
  • An adult-only forum.

I'm not sure what is meant by giving each game its own section. Isn't that what's always been done?

More suggestions are welcome!

I think what tehy mean is that the classics should have there own boards instead of being clumped together.
  • Phantasy Star I
  • Phantasy Star II
  • Phantasy Star III
  • Phantasy Star IV

And if some one whants to get more indepth, do the same with the two Game Gear and the text games (But I guess that those can be counted as II, but we do have a PSP board here though).

I don't see how that would be a good idea. There are few threads about the classic series as it is. There are too many forums at the moment, too.

The presence and amount of forums should reflect the amount of discussion and active users.
