Is there a way to patch this using ESR Patcher so I can use it on my PS2 console modded with Free McBoot?

Thank you

I have no idea. You could try contacting Tryphon or Blaw-?

I would like to publicly apologize to anyone experiencing a glitch on the real system after you win a battle on the world map. The overworld characters disappear and Alisa is replaced with a random character's graphics. I am so, so sorry. We didn't have anyone to test it on a real system.

Wow, calm down, man. It's not like it can't be revised, don't worry about it.

Yeah, I guess that's a bit over the top of an apology, but I'm really embarrassed. It shouldn't have made it past beta, but there was nothing I could do. I just feel really (Is swearing allowed on the forum? I wanna say something that rhymes with "kitty" and starts with "sh-".) awful about it.

Even a final version can be considered a non-final version, as long as someone finds something worthy of being revised or corrected or has the interest in making some kind of "upgrade" on a game.
So don't beat yourself over it, take note of any weird thing happening in the game and revise or correct it, simple as that.

Despite the random item drop bug I've played a lot of PSG2 and I've never once seen Alisa spite disappear and be replaced with another party member sprite/graphic.
And I would never expect an apology from anyone who is putting work into this translation. I'm still very appreciative of all the work you and everyone has done so far.

Oh! Have you played v2.10 on the real thing, TheSegaDude? And you're not getting these bugs? Sometimes I would get them if I escaped a battle while on a vehicle, and I thought it was either the fault of the emulator or it was in the original game.

Sorry I didn't realize v2.10 was posted.
At http://pscave.com/psg2/download/ I see only v0.8 for download.

So, no I have not been using v2.10. I can try it out of if you think it will help.
Where can I download v2.10?

TheSegaDude, do you even realize where you're posting? This is the PSg1 translation topic, not PSg2's.
Of course the PSg2 download page would barely have a thing of PSg1, you need to go to PSg1 download page.

You are correct. I am following a few threads and I got them mixed up.
Sorry for the confusion!

I've got PSG2 on the brain.

Yes, TheSegaDude, for now, I'm only part of the PS gen:1 team. :D It's OK if you were confused!

I really love what you've done! G1 truly shines now!

I hope my original version gets banished to the Wayback Machine and never sees the light of day again!
