Dark Falz - Tabletop Miniature

Last year I started painting miniatures for use in tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons, Starfinder, and so on. I was perusing various miniatures looking for something threatening to toss at my Starfinder players when I spotted the Plague Stage 1A and Plague Abberation miniatures from Mantic. I have Phantasy Star on the brain as I immediately thought Dark Force. So I've started collecting them (usually in Black Friday sales) and painting/converting them to resemble my favorite extra-dimensional splinters of pure hatred. Here's my latest, Dark Falz from the original Phantasy Star.

Whoa! Nice work.

I'll probably try to create something similar in Blender when I have learnt it enough.

Sounds promising. Dark Falz/Force is such a classic enemy, in my opinion, that really stands out. Somewhere between Lovecraftian horror and Tolkien's Balrog. Unfortunately, I don't feel like the PSO Dark Force has quite the same feel - they just end up feeling like a random JRPG boss rather than something cohesive and unique.

It looks really good but scary.
Please make sure your Alis Figure is nearby for protection.
