After dealing with Neifirst in Amedas, a girl called Tabitha, at Paseo, talks two lines of text; however, there's a empty line between them. It's not an error, just a displacement of the second line, I guess.

At Arimaya, a girl called Lilith talks: "It's one thing after another ...now we have to worry about being flooded."

I think that after the three dots, a space is needed and "Now" would begin with capital "N", like this: "It's one thing after another... Now we have to worry about being flooded."
Just esthetics, I guess.

Later, at Zema, two men, Nabal and Solomon, talks using three dots also in the same fashion... I think that this situation might repeat across the game...

It's pretty rare. During the tests, sometimes it took more than one hour to get a drop, and I was just doing battles non-stop, nothing else.

darkwraith007 wrote:Goldenboy, thank you for continuing the work to improve the translation. Might I suggest a different name for it so as not to confuse it with the Tryphon/Blaw/Kyence/etc version?

PSG2: English Improvement Project
-Based on the work of the TBKrew that created the original Phantasy Star Generation 2: French and English translations.

It's Goldenboy's version, so it use a different name As long as the original staff is credited somewhere (and if it wasn't modified, the translation staff is credited at the end of the game staff), it's fine

Once Goldenboy will have his final version, and if he willing to do so, we can upload a patch on romhacking to replace the old version. Basically, both versions have the same source, Goldenboy's one is just a lot more polished, which is nice as Kyence doesn't seem to have the time nor the motivation to polish it.

And to be able to difference it from the old version, it just have to be named something like "Final version" as the old one was named "beta version".

At Piata's Control Tower we find the missing agent, however her name is different. Eusis and the governor refer to her as "Shelley" and her dialogue name is shown as "Sherry"...
This happens on the first conversation. On second conversation, her name is shown correctly.

Let's stick with Shelley. M.I.J.E.T. used that spelling in their Phantasy Star II Character Adventure translations.

Still no word from Tryphon? I've been waiting a long time on PSGEN1 v3.00...

At space prison Gaira: is this second empty line by design?

No... He said me he'll definitively do it but he doesn't know when yet because of lack of free time...

Any chance that we can get an option to revert names back to their originals (Like Rolf insteads of Eusis for example)?

The names currently in the patch are their original names. If you want the names from the English Genesis translation, then you're out of luck, sorry. I don't think there's going to be more than one version released in the end.

Alright. I'll take that as a good sign. Thank you! :D

Only a short message to say that I'm not DEAD and that the PROJECT CONTINUES.

I'm in the TEDIOUS PART of reviewing and optimize all the EVENT.DAT txt (space distribution, error check, etc, etc).

IT's a MONSTROUS WORK and TAKES TIME....I'm also "restoring" original pace to all dialogues (a sort of version3)...i'll let judge when finished..

PLEASE PLEASE CONTINUE TO POST BUG/ERRORS IT'S FUNDAMENTAL! 8-) 8-)

@Missagh

Seen and replied ;)

Great! Thank you GoldenBoy for taking on this mission.

I saw another space between lines dialog in Ryuon, by a dezorian in southeasthern part. Other cities and espers seems OK.

"De environment's completely screwed! But dey don't even care!

Did Dezoris ever mean anythin' teh dem at all? Ye dig?"
