I've never really liked Shin Getter or Armageddon "what if" kinda stories. And I've always hated the Shin Getter mech --looks too puffy for my tastes. Now Neo was cool!! (It's a re-do of the old manga Getter Robo Go.....I think it came out in north america under the name "Venger Robo") There was also Getter Robo Zan, which I've never read.

In no particular order:<p>Nuasicaä - Hayao Miyazaki is a Genious!<br>Appleseed - Incidently so is Masemune Shirow.<br>Blame! - Not taht good storywise, but I love the art.<br>Confidential Confessions - Very serious shoujo manga.<br>Anne Freaks - I have a thing for psychos... =)<br>FLCL - Makes as much sense as the anime.<br>Phantasy Star 2 - Well, I am a phan you know!<br>(By the way: When is the next 'Lucian' due Andrew?)<p>Beware of those:<p>GANTZ - Horrible! No redeeming features!<br>Black Magic - Fun to read if you've read Appleseed maybe. Not otherwise!<br>Shutterbox - Worthless american crap!

Here's the best I've read, maybe some titles are unkonwn or unpublished in the US and Canada, also when I know them I'll write the english names, otherwhise I'll put japanese ones.<p>Berserk<br>City Hunter<br>Jiraishin<br>Ah! If I think about it I feel OLD! I mean, I started back in the '91 to read manga(s?), and at that time Outlanders was just published in Italy, based on Dark Horse's translaition (if I remember right), 13 years has passed so much time, actually half of my lifetime has been spent reading this stuff (sort of, I don't spend all day on them)!
