People say that the series is quite good.
I've seen the movie and it kicked ***!
This could be THE anime that I can actually enjoy.

I need your opinions about this series before watching.

Yeah I've seen the entire series. It's one of my all time favorite anime. Be for warned though, it is very violent and there are a lot of scenes where innocent people are being tortured, murdered, and enslaved. It can be very dark and disturbing to watch at times, but it's got a very good cast of characters, an unforgettable protagonist (Kenshiro), and great villians.
