Even so, you're still wrong gm2987. :p
So many people play offline.

What do you mean recently started?!?!?! Sony's online gaming venture started the same time Xbox Live! hit.

OK, but don't tell that to European gamers. PSO is multi-region.

Yeah...I've heard such things that PS2 online is not good in Europe.

I think he ment that something similar should happen and didn't mean those as if they were on the PS 2 first and then got ported to the GC.

Bingo. Upon high sales, it may be very likely that the game will get a port. Really, there is no reason not to; Gamecube's PSO fans already have the necessary equipment to connect.

Maybe they will sell more BBA in Canada? That would be nice.

...and Motwob, the planet of the beast people - desert planet...

The possibility of playing a Motavian? Sign me up!

...create large or small breasts, make them firm or jiggly...

This is laughable and pathetic. You don't need a "jiggle" dial to attract the young male demographic.
With a generic story, uninteresting characters, and a blatant copy of the Algol star system, I sure hope the game is actually fun to play. And if I find out these "beast people" are not Motavians I don't think I will bother.

no it's not Motavians it's a dumb race with long ears and tanned skin and they look like muscular barbarians that can transform even more beastly.
think Beast from the disney movie but less animal looking.

In that case, I am in no hurry to purchase this game. I'll wait for further information before I get excited.

You people who want a TRUE PS game have to abide by one fact:
All the PS games were TURN BASED. Except for PSO, even episode 3 went back to turn based roots.
You want real time? You do not have a true PS.
PSO is a PS because of the Android they left out ^^

PSO isn't exactly real time combat, there is turn based element in that.
But the majority of people see it as real time. Most of the time it's turn based. Programming is turn based o.o
That is why I said PSO was real time earlier.
Anyways, PSO is a PS just like Gaiden. The left out Searren proves it.
But if we allow real time combat with 6 hit combos, Do we lose the PS spirit? You all want a new PS game.
You loved the original games for turn based Neo, So dislike Episode 3 for it?
This new PS may turn out to be FINAL PHANTASY Star

[Edit by Lord Khyron on [TIME]1112375773[/TIME]]

I never played the originals....hence why I rarely post in that section of the boards.
I also believe that those turnbased elements in Ep. 1&2 could be broken as well.

[Edit by Neo48 on [TIME]1112381019[/TIME]]

I don't really have a problem with it only being on PS2 as most people will have at least two consoles, and one of those will probably be a PS2. I know everyone who doesn't have a PS2 will think that's a really annoying comment, but trust me, most people have a PS2 and at least one other console. Hell, in this house we have... Two Mega Drives (and soon a Genesis 2), a SNES, two Dreamcasts, a Gamecube, a GBA, a DS, an Xbox and two PS2s! Add the PSP to that list when it's finally released in Europe.
Most people over about 16-18 should have enough money to buy a used PS2, even if they don't already have one (the people I live with are 21-24). There a loads of great games on the PS2, it's not all GTA and FIFA...I guess the US equivalent game to FIFA is John Madden. Games like Disgaea, Phantom Brave and Ico are beautiful and brilliant games. Star Ocean 3 was a nice game too, and it's gonna get the PS 1,2 and 4 collection as well as FF XII.
No, I don't work for Sony... >,<

I don't have two of the same thing; I live with three other people. Personally I have a GC, a PS2, a GBA and a brand new DS.
Benoit, in England at least, a GC cost only £40 used from CeX or Gamestation. A PS2 can be bought brand new with a free game of your choice for about £100 from Gamestation.
I'm a student and have a job as a waitress and I earn £150 a week, from only 20 hours work a week, admittedly it's a very posh restraunt. After saving only £25 a week I could buy a PS2 and a game every month. I still can't see how it's that hard to have more than one console for people of a working age. Even if my job was only half as good I could still aford a PS2 after a few months of saving.
Edit: As a little side note, when I bought my GC from Gamestation the man gave me a free memory card and a copy of F-Zero! So it just shows you what you can achieve if you shop around!
[Edit by Zubon on [TIME]1113702385[/TIME]]
