It kinda sorta makes sense as you go along, but it requires quite a bit of filling in the blanks.

Good answers. =)

About Lensol, I prefer to believe that it was a Layan city and Siren's machine army laid waste to it and decided to use it as a prison camp or something.

It kinda sorta makes sense as you go along, but it requires quite a bit of filling in the blanks.

I guess I'll have more clues once I get to Landen and Techna.

About Rhys and Lyle moving to the cave in Aridia, it would make a WHOLE LOT MORE sense if they just moved to Hazatak instead of a dead-end cave full of enemies.

Hazatak might not have had room, and the cyborgs there might not have wanted to take in a bunch of Layan refugees because they wanted to stay neutral in the ongoing conflict (remember, Lune was doing his thing at or around the same time. This is confirmed by the fact that if you try to go to Landen from Aquatica in Ayn's generation, you are told that you cannot pass because "Lune forbids it!")

That's true. I need to play around a bit more and make sure I talk to every single NPC before moving on.

OK I have a theory about Lashute.....

Shuttles!

Just because Landen regressed in technology doesn't mean anyone else did. In fact I would say the People of Terminus were wights, like Lashiec, so were probably around during the war itself. They would know where shuttles were and how to access them. All of the docking bays in the Aliaas 3 would be empty and abandoned. So it would be very easy for the Lashutians to move freely around the ship.

Now all they would need was for some head strong prince to open up the passages so Layan's and Orakian's could meet face to face again.
