I dunno where to put this, but what EMU is the best for ripping the music? I thought I heard of one that saved music in gym format, that can be converted to midi...is this true????

I dunno about ripping the music, but I do know that a good portion, if not all, of it is available for download in GYM format at www.zophar.net in the Game Gusic Archive. I think PS1 music can also be found there in VGM format. There are also players an plugins available at the same site. I don't think GYM or VGM can be converted to midi (or if they can, not very well) but people have already created midi soundtracks, probably for all of them.

I found that Kega can save as wav format, cool, but unsure if it translates into midi well for my game.<p>As for gym conversions, there is gym2midi or vgm2midi ( i think thats what tis called) Actually conversts some well, but others like crap. I DL'd the PS3 music from zophar (I have been there a million times before for emu's for the RTK series and never saw the music files), and converted some to midi to see how they were.
