The termination "ate" denotes a salt, the anion that gets dissolved when the salt is drown in water. The name "Monomate" demands another name, the cation´s name. It should be "Monomate of something" - the "something" is irrelevant.<p>I think that Dimate and Trimate are different substances derived from polymerization of Monomates, not different quantities of the same substance.<p>The Monocromate is the best, though.
