I was browsing a PS site the other day, and I looked upon a site that was titled "Sega artwork" for PSIV. Anyway, there was a drawing from Sega of Rika with her son -- who looked JUST like Chaz only with short Numan ears. It's pretty obvious that Chaz and Rika hooked up at the end of PSIV, but does anybody know any more info about this son they had or any other children? Just curious... I always wondered what happened to the characters after the games...

If I remember correctly, there wasn't much more worked out than Rudy/Chaz dying.<p>-Corey

From PS Compendium Translation:<p>Settei dreamed up by Yoshida-shi on twelve years after Millennium. The man himself says they're just doodles, but I'd sure like them to come true. [Here's where things get interesting - in the settei, a somewhat older and sadder Fal (sporting a Hunter's uniform and a new haircut - a ragged just-short-of-shoulder-length cut with a Starlights-style ponytail in back) with her *son* Rui (could be "Louie", but I'm assuming his name is a derivative/diminutive of his father's). Rudy isn't pictured. Why? Because he's DEAD. Yep, Shorty, in Yoshida's eyes, never even made it to 30. I can't read all the text next to Fal - small, scribbled characters again - but I can give you the gist of it - after Rudy's death, Fal joined the Hunter's Guild and became its most renowned Hunter. She raises her son on her own, and the bandana she now wears was a bequest from Rudy. Her son, Rui, is eight years old, though, because of his mother's blood, he's growing up a little faster than usual and should reach adulthood at 12 or 13. He's also showing great potential as a Hunter. But, back to Fal now - though the canonity of this is sketchy, I feel so sorry for the dear. The entity that was, in effect, her father, blows himself up, she leaves Forren, the only other person who was like family to her, to stay with Rudy, then he dies early, leaving her to take care of a child and become a brood mare for a new super-race of humans. What a sad fate.

How's that, Etra? <p>PSP, wow, thank you so much for that info. That is so sad that after Rika and Chaz had a child -- Chaz died! So, I guess they only had one child after all. Why, or how, did Chaz blow himself up??? I can't believe it.

Oops, you're right. (@) But my question still remains, how did Chaz die? Gosh, that really sucks.

Guys, it's not canon. It's just something one of the people of the Phantasy Star team dreamed up in his spare time. You know, a short fanfic.

Thank god, I would hate for Chaz to die so early... Sheesh that would have sucked, you have a crap childhood then get taken in by a wonderful person, she dies, you meet the love of your life, you save the world, you have a kid, then you die >.> Sheesh thats even worse then anything I had planned inmy game XD

I dont get that...my avatar is GIGANTIC, but everybody loves it...except maybe Neo, I think I got him a bit peeved when I stole his thread...ah, whatever. No time, CSI is on
