PS Character First Round poll (Mieu/Rune)

Y'know, this one is really close, but I have to give the edge to Rune. Mieu's value increases or decreases depending on who you marry (her usefulness with Crys is immense, with Aron or Adan, not so much), while Rune, if leveled properly, is a key member of your team. If you can get him up to level 29 so that he learns Efess before the first Dark Force battle, that fight is a breeze. REVER really comes in handy, too. And, he keeps pounding away in boss battles - first with Legeon, then Efess, then Nagra. It isn't like other characters where he uses his special skill once or twice and then isn't much help (I'm looking at you, Wren).
Rune, but it's very close.
