The Profound Darkness does give an EXP meseta reward.

The first two forms give 5 EXP, so in a party of 5, that's 1 EXP for everyone... and of course, only 1 meseta...

The third (and final) form, gives 9999 EXP, so in a party of 5, that's about 1999, and strangely, 2 meseta, rather than the typical 1 meseta by this point.

That's definitely odd. Especially how random the EXP reward for the final form is!

Very, very odd.

It's very odd that the final boss even HAS Exp and Meseta in the first place.

Nice datasheet if something.

Need to wrap my head around it... Why there's every enemy twice?

Yeah, I noticed that too when looking at the data. Doesn't mean anything, but interesting to note. Perhaps they were going to make like an Epilogue chapter that involved finding and fighting a stronger Prophallus but ended up running out of time. Lol.

Not sure why they would have done this though. It might have been because they couldn't have a 0 for the value in both XP and Meseta. Doesn't hurt anything.

Zio 1 gives 1 xp and 1 meseta. You would obviously never get to win the battle without serious hacking, and I'm not sure if you actually would get the xp/meseta. He also has 16383 HP, which seems very arbitrary.

Ive always found it odd that final bosses give any exp. The games over when you beat them.

I'm guessing that there has to be a value for each enemy, which is why Zio, Re-Faze, PD1, and PD2 all have them.
