Original Lutz confirmed as a male?

Based on this, it seems that the gender mystery is solved. I don't think I had seen this yet so there might be other too who haven't. Can someone confirm this? So it was only a translation error...

Or is there still some mystery around (original) Lutz' gender?

Mystery? There's no mystery, just a haphazard translation.

Well. There was at least some confusion.

I know, but that goes far beyond just Lutz's gender. The whole "English canon" position is highly illogical.

:confusion-shrug: "Translation error canon".
Anyway. Since the error was corrected in an english release I guess there's no guestion anymore then.

Myself... I have always treated the Japanese script/plot as the correct one. However I do commonly use the names (character, place, monster) from the English one.

I've always thought the real question is: Why do you want Lutz to be a Woman?

I don't think anyone wants Lutz to be a woman. It's more like people were (?) seeking for the truth because of the translation error.

I played PSII way before PSI. I remember the first time I saw Lutz in PSII he kinda looked like a woman. So that's why I was confused before. Then add the PSI tranlation error to the mix...
