Useless equipment in PSII?

What equipment in PSII do you find rather useless?

I’m making a PSII hack and I plan on changing these weapons:

Whip > Lacon Whip (renamed and stronger).

Scalpel > Laconian Claw (changed into a claw for Nei, Amy starts with the SilentShot and Hugh starts with a Dagger).

Bow Gun is now stronger, but Rudo starts with a Dagger instead (might rename the gun too)

Sonic Gun > Venom Shot (changed into a new gun for Amy, similar to her other guns).

Cannon > Plasma Launch (changed into a stronger gun for Kain).

I also plan on changing useless equipment, like the Titanium Cape, Armour, and Chest. What else do you think could be changed? Thanks.

You could boost all the Crystal items' stats. IIRC I've never equipped them. I only sometimes used them for Gra. Also most of the "GiRes" equipment has the same story. I think I've never equipped Aegis, for example...

I can look at my hacking notes to let you know. I think that the Scalpel and Whip were two.
