What do you think the PS4 remake characters will look like??

I think they'll mess up with Rika trying to make her sexyier than before... I hope I am thinking wrong<p>Then since the design was already pretty cool in comparison with PSII, it'd be cool if they gave the characters some extra suits (probably not because it wouldn't fit with the pictures... It would be great thought, there wouldn't be too much to add on PSIV)<p>I am sure they want to surprize us, they did with PSI and PSII combat system

Hmmm...so maybe this time Kyra will actually look like a girl instead of a she-male? That would be nice. There's one thing they can't mess up about what you said Saner:<p> <blockquote>Hahn's coolness</blockquote> <p>...because it was never there in the first place.<p>But really, other than better defining Kyra's gender they shouldn't change the costume designs at all. They don't need to *endow* the women any more than in the original PSIV, and the men don't need to look 'cooler' or more 'modern' than they already do.

My only concern for the PS4 characters is Rune. The artist who's been doing these remakes has made all the male characters look very young and/or trendy. (Heck, even Odin had styling gel in his hair!) Since Rune is supposed to be the pretty boy, I'm deathly afraid he's gonna end up one of those fruity trannies that most japanese games consider to be "a hot guy". :@ <p>(just imagine the horror.....painted nails, violet eyeshadow, bright red lipstick and a build thinner than Rika's.....)

We'll now officially get to see whether the back of Rika's bodysuit covers her backside completely or not..<p>That is a long debated points.. from her attack animation, it doesn't cover completely...

It will be weird, because the original PS4 art is of a classical anime type, and the actual art looks very different, more serious perharps. I like this new art style that started with PSo and follow the same basic lines on the remakes, but it will be just weird to see it.<p>Maybe more than the others because, during the game, you get to see the characters a lot and get much more familiarized with their look than PS1 and 2, for example, when you only get to see the characters only a few times.<p>Chaz is a kid, but he is a bit tall (taller than the girls, I think), but still he is a kid with a baby face, and I don´t know how they will sove it: make a tough character with a silly infant face or remodel him and make him look like a short kid, or even screw that and make him look like a HuMar :^P<p>Either way, he will be funny to mock again :^P

I'm quite excited for the character design. I was very pleased with PSG2's character design, for the most part (aside from the hair), and I have faith that the same style will be maintained. <br>However, that will only be satisfactory. If the team decides to take a new approach to PSIV in a more realistic sense, that will be most fufilling. PSIV has already accomplished the anime feel once, and I believe doing it a second time, while likely being well done, will lack imagination. A realistic approach with more realistic builds and face structure (who else is sick of the cliched pointy chin?) would be simply great. Not quite like that, Saner. I think a happy medium would be in order. For instance, take PSO: Ep.III's art style... realistic builds (well, all but Sil'fer's chest) and jawlines, as well as actual muscles. No fruity Bishonen men. I'd like something like that, but a little <i>more</i> realistic.
